My husband and I tried to eat there last night. We were super excited to try the food as we are headed to Paris in two weeks and love the cuisine. The owner greeted us at the door but then had a strange look on his face when my husband said table for two. I am not sure what about us offended him as we were dressed nicely. Three young women came in behind us. He ignored us and asked them if they would like a table and sat them. Lots of empty tables. He just left us standing there. About 15 min later while we are still standing at the door, two servers came up and asked us what happened and if he had come back to seat us. When we said no, they apologized and said the owner "was rude". We left without getting to try the food. Still not sure what about our appearance offended him but here's a picture. We were dressed appropriately. We own a building a block from this restaurant and come there quite a bit so very disappointed that we aren't able to eat there. I thought we would be regulars. Definitely don't recommend trying here if you look like us.

I recently visited a restaurant with high hopes for their all-you-can-eat crepe offering, but unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfying. The service was painfully slow, with significant waits between orders. Our first crepe arrived at 8:36, followed by an agonizing wait until 9:20 for the second, and then another long pause until 9:53, at which point, half of our order was incorrect. To add to the confusion, at 10:10, we received a random order that wasn't even ours. We were in there for almost 3 hrs and only got 4 crepe for $33.This dining experience was incredibly disappointing, not just because of the slow service, but also due to the errors with our orders. They also ran out of basic ingredient (sugar). It's unfortunate, but I cannot recommend this restaurant based on my experience.

?️ Honest Restaurant Review: Le Deauville, Lexington KY?️? Summary: Step into the cozy embrace of Le Deauville, a charming corner bistro that transports you to the streets of Paris. With its relaxed atmosphere and classic French menu, this hidden gem is a treasure in Lexington. At Le Deauville, sauces take center stage, infusing each dish with complexity and richness. From the flavorful seafood to the extensive wine list, every aspect of the dining experience is carefully fashioned. Although if you are not accustomed to European dining, you may find the pace of the meal slower than you are used to, the attentive service and elegant ambience make it worth the wait. Despite minor hiccups, old-world charm abounds, making it the perfect spot for a romantic evening or special celebration.? What I Tasted: The French onion soup, served in a classic ceramic crock with the toasted cheese brimming the edges, offered a comforting start to the meal. Although it looked amazing, it fell just short of expectations and lacked the depth of flavor that characterized a truly outstanding rendition of this classic dish. The Bouillabaisse Marseillaise stole the show with a delightful marriage of flavors, where the delicate essence of the sea meets the fragrant warmth of fennel. I wished it was served more traditionally and in two broths, but still the sweetness of the fish and the aromatic essence of the fennel danced gracefully on my palate.? Standout Feature: Le Deauville brings the tradition of French cuisine to the heart of the Bluegrass. While the food may not reach exceptional heights, the quaint French atmosphere, well-prepared sauces, and sophisticated wine choices elevate the dining experience to new heights.⚠️ What Was Mid: While the ambiance and menu evoke the essence of a classic French bistro, some may miss the meticulous technique that defines French cuisine at its best. Additionally, they specialize in mussels, but trying them to find them slightly bland, and I was not really getting the salty or sweet notes I was expecting.

Everything was absolutely outstanding! From the drinks, to the dinner, to the desert, and to the service, there was not a single thing that my boyfriend and I didn’t enjoy. All food was cooked to perfection, and the drinks were spectacularly crafted. I wouldn’t be able to say a bad thing about this place even if I wanted to. Phenomenal!

Came back last night for All You Can Eat Mussels and drinks. The service was impeccable, and Uriah's attention to us was extra special. I'll keep coming back because the quality of food and service I receive is beyond excellent.

Unpopular opinion .. food was bland, had the fettuccine special, zero flavor. Service was not the best, had to ask for every drink to be refilled. 6 people took almost 2 hours from start to finish.Perhaps it was an off night? Who knows.

I had the mussels, must have been bad. I have not been so sick in a long time. The service was bad. I used to love this resturant.

Don't go there on all you can eat mussels night, they will make you wait hours for the food to come out - they just kept saying over and over that they were really busy but it just looked like a typical night. After letting the server know that we'd just like our bill for our appetizers as the mussels were taking too long, within one minute they finally bring out the mussels as if they literally had them sitting waiting around the corner until we were too upset too continue waiting. Terrible service especially at the price point. If you do go plan on waiting at least a couple of hours.

This might be in my top 5 restaurants ever and I've been to a lot of restaurants in many cities.Parking: It's always easy to find street parking, and it's open when the meters are free.

We made a reservation weeks ago to celebrate a birthday, party of 2.We arrived 5 minutes early, and stood at the entrance waiting for someone (anyone) to acknowledge us. We finally inquired at the bar and we're unceremoniously dumped at a bar (not dining room) table, in the line of kitchen traffic. The noise, punctuated by the very loud arguments between staff at the bar in front of patrons, was mind-numbing. The two of us, sitting 3 feet apart at a ridiculously small table (designed for drinks, not for dinner!) could barely converse. The service was tepid, at best. Our female server greeted us with "I'm sure you're in a hurry, but I'm very busy", rather than even a simple Hello. We assured her we were looking forward to a relaxed dinner, were not in a hurry at all and were celebrating a special occasion. She basically ignored us most of the evening, as she was frequently behind the bar mixing drinks. The best service we received was from the young lady busing tabled, who was kind, smiling and able to retrieve my coat from coat check at the end of the evening. The food (shared cheese plate, mussels dijonnaisse, duck confit, and shared profiteroles ) was really very good, reasonably priced (total tab of $120 before tip), but the special evening we had planned was diminished due to service and horrible seating.

Everything was excellent - and we loved the cozy vibe. Our server was very attentive and knowledgeable. My only ding - it took a long time to receive our entrees, but the wait was worth it.

AMAZING food, the escargot was excellent, my wife and I split an entree so we could try a little of everything including the shrimp and avocado salad which was delicious. The server was so attentive and the atmosphere was very charming. I would travel to Lexington to eat here again!

Shit service, crap cocktails, terrible food. The staff very unfamiliar with the concept of excellence. The glory days of the past are over. Not sure what has happened, sad to see this. I won't be back.
