Amazing Peruvian food. We have had the ceviche several times, and it has been fresh and citrus-y every time. The green-lip mussels are really tasty, and the chicheron (sp?) was crispy and not too heavy. The soups are light yet satisfying. The pisco sour also gets a thumbs up. Also, the service was extremely friendly and they make you feel like family.
I have never had Peruvian food prior to this. I wanted to check out the food options and actually had seen a picture of a specific drink that I thought was similar to Horchata in a picture and assumed it was an authentic drink option. When I got to Maty's I was the only one there both times I have gone this past month to try the food. Unfortunately the drink I had seen was an adult beverage (alcohol) and I don't drink. Bummer!
