Very seldom do I return to a restaurant twice within a few weeks. Very seldom does my experience at a restaurant improve the more I visit. The Katsu Curry is the stuff of dreams, and the spicy ramen (I forgot the entire name) is great for a rainy day. My server was incredibly knowledgeable, personable, and took her time with me and every other diner without compromising quality or efficiency. Highly recommend. Places like this are why Lexington is so highly regarded for its diverse culinary culture.

Hands down the best Japanese food in town. High quality, authentic, delicious. On the seasonal menu, the nabeyaki udon is incredible. My boyfriend gets the ramens, which are amazing, and the sushi is to die for. It's pricey, but worth every penny. Highly recommend!
So good!!! Amazing staff as well

Fantastic Japanese food. The gyoza, ramen and Tempura were all fantastic. Have been twice in the last month.

I loved this place, but the most recent experience was not great. I was given the wrong sushi roll, this is clearly a California roll and they would not fix it. Told me I was wrong about what went in the Boston roll, when the menu clearly says it doesn't have avocado. IM ALLERGIC TO AVOCADO, which is why I chose the Boston roll. We spent $80 on lunch and even gave a $12 tip on top of lunch gratuity!!They didn't want to fix it so they lost a customer.

Food was AMAZING! The best authentic Japanese restaurant in Lexington. There is only one chef so sometimes the wait is a bit long 30 minute average but the food is spectacular.
The chef is from Japan and worked in the restaurant there from age 15 till 23 when he moved here.
There is usually one server as well, so you'll have to speak up if there's something you need but the ladies are always very nice!

We went for lunch on a Saturday and enjoyed it very much. Itβs a small, low key shop that feels authentic and offers some dishes, like Oyakodon, that you rarely find on menus anywhere. The Oyakodon and the sushi we ordered were all tasty and reasonably priced. This will now be a regular spot for us.

Best Japanese food in the city.
You do need to be prepared to wait a bit. But it is worth it.

Pretty frustrating. I had 1 hour to sit down and enjoy a nice dinner. There was only one girl working and you could tell she was way too busy, not her fault. It took 10 minutes to be seated and then after waiting 25 minutes, I still hadnβt had my order taken or had gotten a glass of water so I had to walk out since I wouldnβt have enough time to finish my meal. Very disappointing. Pay for another person to work so you can serve your customers and not overwork the one girl there.
