I have gone past it for years but never has the time to stop. Yesterday I did. Loved it. Don't find places like that everyday. Doesn't look like much from the outside but I think that adds to the draw.
It really checks every box of a great spot (friendly service, cheap prices, enticing menu), just wasn’t wowed by the sandwich and greens I got. Sandwich was fine but felt a lot more like four great sounding things slapped together than some harmonious creation. Wouldn’t knock it as like a road trip grub stop? And the brisket itself was quite tender.
Smoked salmon platter for two. Sides of barbecue baked beans and coleslaw. Salmon was incredible. Customer service, super friendly, helpful. Restaurant was packed with many people standing in line on Valentine’s Day, 230pm. We will be back.
