Salt & Vinegar Reviews
The best food in town! Great beer & great service!
I highly recommend Salt & Vinegar to everyone who’s looking for something extraordinary when it comes to food and craft beer & cocktails.
Visited Ethereal Pubhouse on Vine and still thinking about the food! Salt & Vinegar has opened a second location here, bringing more fine German and American food to our pub lives. We got the pretzel, spatzel primavera, and hangar steak...literally scraped the plate. Salt & Vinegar is a downtown pub serving a variety of traditional pub food. The menu features dishes like bratwurst and mash, hot honey chicken sandwich, burger, and schnitzel. The grilled cheese paired with tomato bisque is a standout, and the cookie dough is a must-try. The pretzel and pimento cheese is also highly recommended. The Nashville hot chicken and catfish are great, and the house chips are very good. While the nachos could use some improvement, the overall experience is delightful. The pub has craft brews and cocktails to choose from, and the bartenders are friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is similar to what you'd find in Europe—clean, quiet, and with a great vibe. Be aware that everything is ordered and paid for at the bar beforehand. Visiting during off-hours can provide a more pleasant experience.
