Not your normal ice cream shop! Located near the UK campus, experience an awesome view while eating flavors such as lavender, Hot Banana (Not for the faint of heart or sensitive palettes) and chocolate hazelnut.
GREAT local ice cream shop. Used to have a sister grill location across the street, but it has since closed. The chill spot is in campus and close to UK Healthcare along with Good Samaritan Hospital.
They provide you with a wooden spoon for your ice cream, presumably to cut down on plastic waste, which is great! I asked them for one of their plastic tasting spoons instead though because unfortunately I have sensory issues and cannot stand the texture of wood/popsicle sticks. The employee working the counter provided one, no questions asked. It felt really great as someone with sensory issues to have my needs met without it being drawn out into a huge deal.
