There isn't a Schlotzky's near where I am currently living and I really miss their food. We were passing through and drove 30 minutes out of our way so that I could get one. We had just eaten shortly before passing through, so we grabbed sandwiches to go and were planning on eating them when we got to our hotel in Florence about 45 minutes later. I should have checked the bag, but I didn't. Our order was for one medium and one giant original. When we got to our hotel room and pulled them out, we had two small sandwiches that were not originals. No mustard and I think turkey was the meat. The bread was also stale. I paid 16 dollars for a giant and got a small turkey instead. could not have been more disappointment, definitely not worth going out of our way for. My husband and I decided it was not worth the hour and a half drive to correct the problem.

First, I love the original sandwich. This is the only one within 40 miles of me. Everytime I am in Lex I eat here. The salt vinegar chips are my favorite! Brewed ice tea tops the meal off!

This is the best place for a sandwich & the bread is unreal. When I lived in Vegas, I would go there, so I'm happy they have one in Lexington. Make it a large sandwich. I bet you can't finish it.

Best place to eat in lexington. My cashier's name was Kayson and she was so helpful and nice. Also the owner Rick was there and he truly cares about his customers and is just the best. The man who made my foods name was Roy and he was very professional and extremely nice and helpful. I would recommend this place to everyone.

We have been to this restaurant several times and have had repeated issues with our orders being incorrect. More often than not, when I ask for ingredients to be left off a sandwich, they’re included anyway. I have to either spend twenty minutes waiting for my sandwich to be remade correctly or pick through with my fingers. They never include napkins in the bag, and the last time we went, they didn’t even offer us a receipt. Their manager needs to spend more time training their staff to make orders correctly, because the absolute lack of care is clear and appalling.
