Smithtown Seafood is located conveniently in the Barn at the Summit. Since it's in the midst of all the shops, you can quickly grab food during your trip. I got their famous fish and chips platter. While it was good, the fish was definitely overcooked. The platter also comes with fries, hushpuppies and coleslaw. The service during my visit was excellent. The guy running the register was seriously the most friendly and welcoming person I've had at this location. Parking is easy at this location since it is in the Summit. Also, if you fancy a beer or cocktail, you can quickly grab one across the way at Whiskey Bear. I've also tried their catfish meal. It was also very delicious. Overall, if you're visiting the Summit and looking for a good meal, definitely check this place out!

I really enjoyed the incredible service and food during a visit to Smithtown today. This location is not a stand alone store front but in aa building called the Barn which houses other neat eateries. Back to the food! Hot, fresh and fries were awesome (pair it with their tomato ranch)! Will definitely be back!

I got the Singapore shrimp wrap and a side of hush puppies. The batter was raw still in the inside of the hush puppies...and the shrimp were too fishy so I was scared to eat them.

Very disappointing meal, especially for the price. My mom's fish was burnt black and hard. She took it back to the counter and they told her they would bring her another piece, which was raw and slimy. The batter was not even fully done on the inside. My chicken tenders were just over-fried and more batter than chicken. It was a waste of money, and not cheap!

I so enjoy this place. It's one of the few that doesn't disappoint at the Summit. Here, Homeywood, and the Brazilian place. Love them all. Had my favorite dish, Singapore Salad with Blacken Shrimp. Delicious.

Consistent quality of food. Actually very good to be such a small hole in the wall

Great food and atmosphere. You can sit inside or out on the patio with your dog!

Many restaurants to choose from in Summit but I enjoyed Smithtown

Well to start it took 20 minutes for 2 fish tacos, fries, and grits. I will start with the good... The grits were great, that's itThe bad...Fish tacos are not only tiny but have zero flavor along with the fact that you may get around less than an ounce. The fries were ok but soggy. My bill came out to $12.70, go somewhere WOB and get fish tacos if you are in the Summit. This place does not follow the same strategy as the rest of the restaurants in the family.

Cafeteria style setting where you can order your food and seat yourself. The salad had plenty of good toppings (quinoa, chickpeas, kale, etc), but the serving of cod with it was very tiny. It was cooked well, blackened with tons of flavor, but the serving size seemed too small for the salad.

Excellent food and service.

Came for Lexington burger week. The burger was very average and we ordered a side of hush puppies which were middle of the road.
