Storming Crab Seafood Restaurant Lexington

I just got the blandest fried catfish, fried shrimp, and French fries i think I've ever eaten. And I got an egg on the side I couldn't eat because it smelled rotten. :(

It was my first time eating Cajun food?. Perhaps the combination of various cultures created a deep flavor. Very delicious.

Let me just start out with how great the food is here! We got 2 lbs of the King crab legs and they were delicious! We also had head-on shrimp and green mussels which were also amazing! Cajun sauce was also great! They were HUGE! Our waitress was Mackenzie and she was AWESOME! Kept our drinks full, was very knowledgeable about the menu and was very helpful! Highly recommend asking for her when/if you decide to eat here!!

Through DoorDash on multiple occasions, they do not understand that crawfish etoufette comes with rice. On multiple occasions they have forgotten to add it. The taste of the sauce was good, but it’s baffling to have etoufette without its base. They need to make sure the people that run their take out understand their menu.

Came from North Dakota for Breyerfest. Planned to come here since March. Not going to lie, for being my first seafood boil, it was really good. I'm happy I added this to the trip plan!

I went in to pick up a mobile order last night. I called to add an egg because the option wasn’t there online. The greeting staff were young and inexperienced, which is fine if they had superiors. They couldn’t help when my order was wrong. They gave me someone else food in my bag. They simply handed it over to him after everyone had touched over it, including myself. They then told me “the kitchen is closed” and walked off after they couldn’t fix my order. It was a little after 9. I asked for a manager (there was none)…..the lady at the bar told me “you can come in tomorrow and pick up your order because the kitchen is closed” I come here atleast once every week or two. No issues. This time it was insanely ridiculous. I sat there looking like a fool thinking someone was helping me? Meanwhile they just went on about their day because they didn’t have a clue. I drive 30 minutes just to get this and it was a cluster. WHERE ARE THE MANAGERS?

PLEASE DON'T NOT EAT ANYTHING at this restaurant if you're looking for flavorful seafood. I normally eat at Shaking SeaFood and Wings, but I decided to give this place a try since it was closer proximity to me, and it was not worth it at all...

The mint candy had more flavor than the actual food that I paid good money for. NOTHING had flavor, the seafood boil tasted bland (Butter and salt). I ordered fired shrimp and French fries, Seafood boil, fried calamari with lemon peper seasoning. IT WAS NOT WORTH IT... I really hope that this review helps this resturant improve their food quality and flavor.

The fries were not full cooked and taste like raw cut potatoes, the calamari had a such a thick batter that I was confused on whether it was fired onion rings or calamari, the fried shrimp batter was also thick which I believe made it diffcult for the shrimp to cook and it tasted raw. The Seafood boil was the worst... I'm still upset about the lack of flavor, everything was overcooked and tasted bland. The waiter was nice but this does not make up for the bland flavorless food that I was provided to consume.

The food was delicious and to make our experience even better Steve was fantastic! I would definitely recommend this restaurant. And make sure to ask for Steve!!
