“The taco flights (The Filthy Fajita, The Smokeshow and The Gangsta) were Amazing as was our appetizer (Shrimp Rangoon Bites)!! Strawberry Bombshell on the rocks was definitely the bomb! Speaking of being the bomb, gotta give it up to our server Tonni and the general manager Nick who were both so nice, helpful and accommodating!! We will definitely be repeat customers! “We really enjoyed our visit at Desperados Cantina located in the Distillery District. They have what seems to be the largest tequila selection in town! Not only do they serve great cocktails, but their tacos are so good. I highly recommend the hot pepper chicken taco and the pork belly taco. They also have a nice patio right next to a creek with a beautiful fireplace. Highly recommended!“

Whether it be street tacos, tortas or quesadillas, the portions are huge (and worth it!) Part of the Little Mexico area of Lexington, the place is always packed with customers. The food is made fresh. The green salsa is awesome. The flavors are splendid!“

“This place is great. You order at the counter, incredibly friendly staff, food comes out super fast and was delicious. They were incredibly helpful in all our requests to package up our to go food.

Veggies tacos, arroz con pollo, and chips and queso (ofc) are amazing. They also have daily specials & the jumbo margs aren't too sweet.“

“I tried the steak tacos and the elote. I have been trying to find good elote in Lexington for some time now. Forgive me if I’m spelling that terribly wrong. But, the corn dish involving cheese, chili powder, mayonnaise, cilantro, and lime. And it was fantastic. Tasted like it was made authentically. Overall I give this place a 4 out of 5 mostly just due to the location being on the more dangerous side. I say this as someone who has lived in the East End area before. So I’m not talking out the side of my neck. I wish they had shredded beef as a meat option. The prices weren’t anything out of the ordinary during the times that we are in. For 3 tacos for me and 3 for my girlfriend it was $19. And the elote was $11. So $30.00 total. We were happy to pay that, knowing how good the food is. We will definitely be back.“

“May try it out again but it was mediocre. The service and quickness was great. Husband got steak and chicken street tacos, BLAND. No flavor especially the shredded chicken. Bean soup was good. I got steak fajitas which steak was pretty good so my dish had flavor. Guac was great too. What was VERY disappointing was I got DENIED by my request of corn tortillas instead of flour tortillas with my meal. NEVER have I been to a Mexican restaurant and been (literally) told NO. Server was great but To make the experience REALLY AWKWARD was the fact that instead of getting your bill your server stands there waiting for you to pay them and if paying in cash they’ll stand there and NOT give you your change back. I was waiting for my change (so I could manage out her tip) and she just stood there so I got out more cash for her tip then decides to walk away. Very uncomfortable so you may want to change your checking out routine.“

Parking: It's right next to a gas station so parking shouldn't be a huge problem.“
