Visited 10/30/25. The restaurant was not busy this day, I went for the scheduled musicians. Service was very attentive and helpful. Food continues to be subpar. They let you order meat to certain temps but everything comes out well done. When I told the server it was not to temp, she offered to replace it and I said no. She did come back and say our our meats ( burger and salmon) had been comped. So if you like everything well done then go ahead. Otherwise beware.
Have eaten here several times, and have always been very pleased. Bar is great, ambiance is great, service is great. But this time food was a little below par. Lamb was very tough, cornbread was crumbly. But we'll be back! Would recommend highly.
Rackhouse Tavern is a cool concept but maybe trying to be too many things. It's the all-day dining restaurant for the Campbell House hotel. Their website featured an experienced chef and creative cocktails in a historic hotel. The hotel is cool to see, and it was an energetic environment in the evening with a live band.
