Zundo Izakaya Ramen, Sushi Robata

DO NOT GO HERE. BIG MISTAKE. THIS IS THE WORST FOOD IVE EVER RECIEVED. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. CALLED FOR MANAGER TO ASK FOR REFUND AND THEY HUNG UP ON ME.

I like these type of things like niche restaurants for the sushi. Really good choices that come around on the conveyor belt. Or if you want to order something that you don't see on the conveyor belt you can have like a little robot comes out which is cool and delivers it to you rides out like a car on the top. Prices are pretty consistent with really good sushi so you know eat as much as you want. you grab the plate and then you get charged by the plate so price really depends on your appetite but the sushi was really top notch.

We just had a delicious dinner here! Some of the best sushi and ramen we’ve had. My kids ate it up too. We had a few sushi rolls (can’t go wrong with any choices) and the chicken ramen, and teriyaki chicken. All so amazing. The best part was the robot cat bringing our food to the table!

I have been here almost a year+ at this point and I will say. I have ate here through DoorDash and dinning in. From all times throughout the day. From the start, middle and bout closing time for Zundo. No matter what time or day. This place is always a hit for me. The food here is amazing and yet the service is always a blessing. This place has my heart to the point I gifted them with Cinnabon. Thank you Zundo for being here and keep being amazing with the food and the service. Excellent job guys!!!

Extremely disappointing experience from start to finish. The server forgot my sushi roll entirely and never once checked back on the table. No refills on water, no follow up, nothing. Then she brought the bill as if everything was correct and had no idea the roll was even missing.

I had to wait another ten minutes trying to flag someone down because our server was nowhere to be found, and another server ignored us. When we finally got her attention, her reasoning for keeping the charge on the bill made absolutely no sense. Offering the roll “to go” after the meal was already over is not a solution. No one wants a squishy sushi roll that has been sitting in the window for over 20 minutes.

Basic service standards were completely missed. When you dine in, you expect to actually receive the full meal, refills on water, and at least one check in from your server. Poor attention to detail and poor accountability. Not acceptable.

Though it is connected to Toku Reveling Sushi I got it confused with it. The lighting is low but I have no complaint. I like low lighting. I ordered gyudon for the first time and I really like it. High protein with sliced lean beef, onions poached egg and steamed rice with a drink of Boba tea. And some takoyaki. At least the filling isn't too creamy.
The only negative thing about this place is that right next door to Toku. And this place can be loud.
It took me 20mins from Rupp Arena to get here after a fun convention I came out from. All in all, it is a good izakaya to visit and enjoy.

we were given a table and asked for a high chair for our 1 year old. we stood for 15 minutes at the table waiting, the high chair never came and nobody ever checked on us or brought water or anything.

Some of the best ramen in town. Great hamachi Kama. Good selection of exotic Japanese street food (cow tongue, chicken heart etc.). Really good sake selection.

Absolutely amazing! We’ve been to Japan twice and were craving some ramen and gyoza that would compare to what we had abroad. This exceeded all of our expectations. Literally tasted just like what we had in Japan and was exactly what we were looking for. Cannot recommend this place highly enough. Everything we ate was fantastic. Be sure you try the gyoza and spicy miso ramen!
