Everything was fantastic! Tiffany provided excellent service! The bread service was so good. Three kinds of freshly made breads, all generous portions: pumpkin seed bread, focaccia, and sourdough with sides of salted butter, green tomato jam, and pickled beets. The Greek salad and chicken Tikka masala both tasty. The best was the cocktails and desserts. Don't pass on these! One other cool point is their menu prices include gratuity as they provide an above living wage with benefits for all their employees.
What a beautiful place! We enjoyed the grounds so much! And the food and drinks at the restaurant was AMAZING! Waitress was as great as well. Can’t wait to go back!
We are in the tent set up. Service was excellent. The bread appetizer and croquettes were underwhelming. The meatloaf entree was not good. The bread pudding is fantastic. Just get a drink and the bread pudding!
We went to lunch here after our bourbon tour and the food and service were fantastic. My friends and I each got the double patty wagyu cheeseburger with fries. It was perhaps the juiciest, most enjoyable burger I've ever eaten. Typically I add ketchup to a burger but didn't need to. I asked for a tomato slice on it too and it was a super fresh slice (perhaps from their garden??). I also ordered the Mint julip ice cream and pie; the ice cream was delicious. Also, you get like 2-3 potatoes of fries!
Went here for lunch prior to our Maker's Mark tour. We ordered the bread service as an appetizer and it was the best bread we have ever had! Warm and very fresh, besides for the outstanding taste! The salads we all had for lunch was the freshest ingredients and so delicious! I would highly recommend eating here before or after the tour! Excellent prices and you will be extremely happy!
Great stop after the tour for lunch. Beautiful building and nice setting. We split a couple apps before we left.
Ethan was an outstanding tour guide. We did the Star Hill Farms experience. I would recommend this tour as it is different from most other distillery tours. Afterwards we were able to choose a bottle of Markers Mark and dip our own bottle. The on-site restaurant was also a great place to grab a meal. Ariel did a great job as our server. I would recommend planning your day to enjoy a meal and their cocktail bar either before or after your tour.
Absolutely delicious!!! Cannot wait to visit again and enjoy another farm to table meal. It was great to tour the farm and then see the products being put to such great use! A fun menu with good drinks too!
Out of curiosity here at work, I decided to look where the place was on the map on my phone, it seems like an incredible place, who knows, maybe one day I can visit!!! Hugs directly from Lisbon/Portugal
The drive into this place is beautiful. It is off the beaten path, but worth the effort. The tasting room has such a modern vibe—it felt like Napa— and the property is beautiful. We enjoyed a build-your-own-flight before walking around the grounds and visiting the gift shop. The fun thing about Maker’s Mark is getting to dip the bottles you buy into the iconic red wax. Add Maker’s Mark to your Bourbon Trail itinerary for sure!
