It was birthday celebration and it was a great decision to celebrate here. I had the scallops and my husband had the pork chop. Both were excellent! We split a wedge salad and while it was very good, the salad was the smallest Wedge we've ever experienced. Almost tiny. Drinks were excellent, our server Alison was wonderful and appreciated the complimentary birthday dessert.
We ate in the bar area which was nice and cozy as there appeared to be a large party in the main restaurant. The food was excellent and we were lucky enough to go on half price wine night. Love Clover Lane.
Hamburger and fries were really good, burger on grilled bun. Friend had the trout and the other one the shrimp salad, both delicious. Server was excellent. The only reason i gave a 4 instead of 5 for food: even though field greens are the “thing”, a lot of people don't care for them. Cos was offered, but to me it is flavorless. Would be great if Romaine was an option. Just a personal preference.
