Tonight was our first time at 80/20 Kaelin's and we'll definitely come back. I had the fried chicken and brussel sprouts. Both were excellent but especially the brussel sprouts. Our waiter was phenomenal. I didn't get his name but he was a red haired gentleman. Not only did he make sure we always had what we needed but he kept us laughing. From his favorite football team, to getting cut off by a Packers fan, to what he does (other than being a waiter) for a living. The laughs didn't stop!! That, to me, is priceless. I hope he reads this and knows how much he was appreciated tonight. ❤️

I went here with my best friend and brother on a whim. Not really knowing what to expect other than what we could gather from a quick glance at the reviews. We certainly left with full bellies and a smile. A tad pricy but the good service, atmosphere, and taste of the food did support the ask mostly. We paid about $32 for our meals and that was with the tip. I got the kaelins original and it was pretty good but I think I liked the grilled cheese brisket better. Food was 8/10.

Sick spot. Service was great, not over the top and fake. The wait wasn’t long at all. We went in after trick or treating on Halloween and were in and out in under an hour.

Now, the reason you’re looking up reviews… the food… I got the 80/20 burger and it was HANDS DOWN the best burger I’ve had in the city (at least in a while). We will definitely be going back.

For a family of 4 with 1 appetizer and drinks it was about $100 plus tip, so be prepared for that, but it is absolutely worth it for an occasional outing. Or just leave the kids at home and have a nice date night.

No matter who you go with, it’s worth at least one stop!

Parking: Decent parking behind the restaurant, with options around for street parking as well.

Kid-friendliness: Kids menu, staff made my daughter feel right at home.

They say that they invented the burger. After eating here, they just might have. I got the classic and it was wonderful. The fries were crispy and got a scoop of vanilla ice cream and that just settled it. This is a great place to eat.

Dietary restrictions: Gf bread but none of the apps are suggested because of breading and same fryer.

I thought this place was really nice!!! We had great personality service, good speed on service for our party of 10 and the food was cooked and prepared very well at this establishment. Excellent food and our server was awesome (i forget his name) but he was very knowledgeable and patient. The parking is a bit congested but we expected that...and today the drink specials were at a good value. My only dislike was the portion of our sides (a bit small for the price) overall good eats! 4.5/5

Service was excellent, food was good, ice cream great! The place was crowded and with that many people it was VERY loud. All in all, so glad we went...will go again!

I recently visited this restaurant and decided to try their meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and macaroni & cheese dinner, hoping for a comforting, classic meal. The meatloaf, the star of the dish, was quite good overall. It had a nice, firm texture with a well-seasoned crust that was slightly crispy on the edges. However, while it had great potential, I found it to be a bit too salty for my liking. The savory flavors were there, but the saltiness overpowered what could have been a much more balanced dish.

As for the macaroni and cheese, I was a little disappointed. The flavor didn’t quite live up to the expectations. It had that familiar taste of boxed macaroni, which left me yearning for something richer and more homemade. The creamy texture was there, but the cheese sauce lacked depth and complexity.

That said, the dish wasn’t all bad. The portion size was generous, and the service was warm and attentive. With a few adjustments to the seasoning of the meatloaf and a more authentic, flavorful mac and cheese, this meal could easily be a comfort food winner. For now, it’s decent, but it falls short of being memorable. In short, this is still a restaurant I would give a second chance as they do have a pretty extensive menu and great customer service
