Our Waitress was very helpful with menu and ordering from a table of 5 and all young ladies. We enjoyed the company and the food.
When we originally received our order it was cold-not lukewarm but cool. They immediately worked to make it right and remade our order, comping us for the meal. Unfortunately, when it came time to tip the bill showed the total for 4 meals instead of only 2 do DH tipped on that amount. Not a big deal but the service didn't warrant a 40% tip
We had a group of 8 friends dining together. We are a group that gets together monthly for dinner and we like to try places that at least some of the people haven't eaten before. Everyone did order one of the cheeseburger options with a variety of sides and we all enjoyed our food a lot. I heard comments like “this is the best burger I've had in a long time” and “we need to come here again” so I do know that everyone was pleased with their meal! Our server was very good - answering any questions and insuring that everyone received the correct order, checking in on us a few times without being overbearing. All in all it was a good meal with good friends!
Visited Sunday afternoon and the restaurant was fairly quiet. Server was pleasant, food was great, and whole visit took less than an hour. Great job Kaelin's, we'll be back!
My family and I were excited to try 80/20 @ Kaelin's. We were celebrating my son's 24th birthday and wanted somewhere everyone could find a dish. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. Our server appeared to be having a bad night and bordered on rude. She even lectured my son for his driver's license having a portrait orientation instead of landscape which is not a problem where we just moved from. To be fair she seemed to realize her attitude was a problem and finished service very friendly and attentive. Before you ask 3/4 of our party work in the service industry and never complained or were rude. The food was inconsistent at best. The pimento grilled cheese was great, as were the Brussels sprouts. The fried chicken was very dry and tough. The burgers were inconsistently cooked (medium rare was rare, medium was well done) and very dry. I'm glad we had the chance to try somewhere new but we won't be back. Good Brussels Sprouts tho!
Would have preferred the dining room over the bar area but right by the kitchen door. we could have asked to move I guess. There was a loud diner at the bar cussing.
This was our first wonderful experience here but it will not be our last! The Brussels sprouts were devine❤️

This is our second trip to Louisville and 80/20 is by far the best restaurant we’ve tried. Unbelievable burgers. Truly cooked to the temperature you request. I had a perfect medium. Easily some of the best onion rings I’ve ever had in my life. We were too full to try so many other things on the menu and we must come back before we leave town!

Food was overall good, the service was slower than expected. We had to track down our server to get refills and check out.

80/20 @ Kaelin’s is a cool restaurant with delicious food. Located in a beautiful area of Louisville you will not be disappointed in the burgers or service this restaurant has to offer! I got the Kaelin classic double, my wife got the burger of the month, and my daughter had a standard kids cheeseburger! All burgers were cooked perfectly. We could tell the meat was quality and it was not over seasoned! The fries were just as good as the burgers. We finished our meals off with some house made ice cream. The cookies and cream milkshake was delicious and smooth with big chunks of cookie in it! My daughter got the lemon blueberry and it was the perfect cross between sherbert and ice cream That I didn't know existed. Overall our experience here was fantastic and we will visit again when we are in the area! Sorry I didn't get pictures of the burgers. They were so good I ate it before I remembered to take a photo!

On a weekend trip from IN and stopped in here for lunch. We ate outside on a beautiful day and even though you were by the street, it wasn’t too loud most of the time. Our service was great and we enjoyed the lunchtime atmosphere.
The food was wonderful. I ordered the monthly burger—the Elotes burger. It was incredible and easily gets a 5/5. It was fresh and unique—perfect flavor combo. Fries were great too! I got the root beer float for dessert and it was yummy too!

Our reservation was for inside, we pivoted and moved outside. They were super accommodating and we had a great time as usual!
