Insanely good food, kind owner, and nice atmosphere. The portions look small, but it's definitely more than filling. I recommend the steak and chicken kabob.

I ordered the quesadilla which was quite poor, but I will take the blame for ordering Mexican at this place. I was sitting a little funny in the chair and the guy gave me a really hard time after I apologized and said I didn’t even order food which was plainly not true. I just hadn’t received it yet because the order took so long. From what I understand most of the food is good but the service and guy who runs it alone are a good enough reason to skip.

Addis is our weekly lunch spot on Tuesdays because it's walking distance from work and is consistently DELICIOUS every single time! The chicken curry is my go-to, but the chicken kebabs, beef kebab, etc- literally everything is gold! Don't sleep on Addis (good luck finding parking though) ?

THIS WAS THE ABSOLUTE WORST RESTAURANT I'VE EVER BEEN TO! The server took an hour and a half to just bring out the first dish! He kept trying to make "compromises". Then when we went to talk to him in the kitchen we saw him mixing the kofta kebab (beef kebab) with the chicken, when one of our friends couldn't eat beef! AVOID THIS RESTAURANT AT ALL COSTS!

This is the WORST RESTAURANT I've ever been to! My friends and I (11 people) were fasting for Ramadan month and when we first walked in the waiter didn't want to serve us because we were such a "big party". Then when we finally got in, he told us there was no lamb left when that's what we came for in the first place! Overall, this was the ABSOLUTE WORST restaurant in all of Kentucky.

This is the hidden gem of Louisville. We walked in one night and the wait was 30 mins so we left. As we were leaving, patrons told us it was worth the wait. We came back the next night and were almost turned away because they ran out of food. Thank God they let us come in as the last cuatomers of the night... omg the food was DIVINE. First review using that description. The lamb was out of this world! The chicken masalla was godly. They Lao have a huuuge beer selection. The owner was also very attentive and made pleasant conversation. Will be back many times!!

Fantastic food, great atmosphere, and a hard working staff.Went here on a whim before a concert because we were struggling to find somewhere without a long wait. Ended up getting seated, eating, and having drinks before we would’ve been seated elsewhere. The food was incredible, and the staff were excellent and super hospitable.I highly recommend checking this spot out, and I know we’ll be back again soon!

Great food, I ordered the Ethiopian Vegan stew platter. So flavorful and delicious. Highly recommend visiting this establishment. Went with four others for lunch and we all ordered very different meals and all thoroughly enjoyed it.

Excellent and deliciously prepared food! A smaller menu and limited hours for lunch and dinner . Very friendly people, huge plate of food and made with passion. A++
