Service was terrible, food was underwhelming and prices unreasonable. Took over 20 minutes to get a glass of water and another 20 for a cocktail. Food came out cold and orders were not complete.

Food was great, service was not. We were seated quickly but took a while for a manager to finally come over and give us menus. She took our orders and brought our food, which was fantastic, but we never saw her again. Had to grab another waiter to finally bring us our bill.

Delicious tacos! This place is unique, creative, and super fun. Some of the best tacos we’ve ever eaten! Definitely will be back until we try them all!

What an eclectic menu. We all enjoyed the appetizers and tacos. The fried carrots on the Loaded Tots were spicy and so so unique. Run was delightful and knowledgeable. Loved our experience.

I picked this restaurant as I was looking for a vegan friendly location on our way from Nashville to Chicago and was so delighted by Agave and Rye! The food was delicious and they went above and beyond for my vegan friends, making the elote and guacamole just for them. They loved their food as did I (I’m the omnivore). The guac was delicious and the tortilla chips clearly made in house. I’m honestly not sure if I liked the food or the eclectic decor more. The different chandeliers in each room and the vibrant paint made for a cheerful lunch! So glad we found this gem!

The food/tacos were absolutely incredible!! So many choices, and all SO good!! We also had the chips and queso that were very good! Would love to go back and try a new one each time we go. P.S. We'd recommend the Swipe Right & Bees Knees before the Sugar Daddy Plain Jane! ;)

A friend turned me into this place. Best tacos I've ever had. So many to choose from. Every one I've had had been amazing. Service has been fantastic each and every time. Very cool, eclectic place.

Great vibes and great food. Staying downtown after visiting the my bourbon trail and needed a nice break. By far the best old fashioned had all week with the double o woodford reserve. Taco tues is 1/4 of selected special tacos and a very good deal. Restaurant gets busy on this day so be prepared to wait a little 20-30mm.

Some of the best tacos and margs I’ve ever had. Highly recommend the jalapeño pineapple marg. The old fashions are also one of the best I’ve had. Highly recommend this restaurant!!

They have great food, but their Guacamole is the best - excellent flavor with a little kick! Try the Happy Meal Taco - very good and filling!
Had the beef Chimi with beans and rice. It was cooked perfectly. The beer was cold! The service was nice and fast! Some of the best chips and salsa!

The food is so good. You have to get the Birria tacos and sweet corn fritters. It was deliscious. Staff super friendly and helpful. Wish they would open one close to home in Michigan!!!

This is a bar right next door to prohibition distillery in Louisville. Long and narrow and plentiful outdoor seating. Outside are props to sit on, cool photo ops. Inside pretty ceiling lights. Had amazing home made tater tots. Huge. Delish sauce accompanied it. Food is very good. Delish drinks. Has a jalapeño one. Service a bit slow and not super friendly. Very fun place with good food and drinks

We decided to try Agave & Rye on Taco Tuesday after I heard some good buzz from friends. The taco did not disappoint. The OG margarita was very good and very potent. We loved the decor and the ambiance. Our server was very good and attentive. Do note that it’s street parking only if I’m correct. Fortunately there were plenty of spots and no meters or restrictions on hours when you could park here. If you are familiar with the Highlands area you know about meters and rush hour restrictions on much of Bardstown Road and surroundings.
