We drove 2.5hrs to go to a Jack'o lantern spectacular on Halloween. When we got close to our destination and searched food. The Back Deck BBQ came up. When we pulled up the gentleman came out and told us they were closing. When he found out we were from out of town he told us to come on in. Oh my gosh... the food was fantastic! We had the pulled pork, coleslaw, baked beans, green beans... and the hubs ordered a cosbinator. That sandwich was huge... had pork, brisket, burnt ends, pickles and coleslaw. DELICIOUS!!! We are so appreciative of him opening his doors and letting us in when he was actually closing up and sharing his delicious food!!!

Tried this place when it first opened and was disappointed and I tried it again on 9-5-25 and was disappointed except for the baked beans and green beans were good the brisket was nothing special again. The interior has taken a serious turn for the worst and seriously dirty . Service this time was sloth like .

Worst ribs by far I have ever had. Dry hard, tuff and full if gristle . Also skimpie portion which was a blessing since they were so bad. The woman taking the orders when asked how were the ribs said she didn't know cause she hadn't tasted them!! Bad sign,I should have walked out.

The place is filthy. Men’s bathroom was disgusting. Only cans of soda for drinks. Tablecloths were dirty. Flooring coming loose, actually seen another customer trip over it. Dirty crap hanging off the ceiling. One guy working by himself at 5pm, obviously hating his job, never smiled or showed any hospitality. Screwed up a simple order. I watched two separate couples walk in, take a look around and walk back out. Owner obviously doesn’t stick any money back into the business. The brisket was dry and tough. The burnt ends were definitely burnt and the sides were overcooked as well. I definitely won’t be back and won’t recommend.
