I finally stopped in at Bae’s Bakery and I will be a customer from this day forward!!! The owner is so friendly, warm and welcoming and the pastries I bought were out of this world. The Italian Cream Cake was so delicious that I was not able to keep the bargain I made with myself to share it with my husband…I just could not stop from eating all of it! The cinnamon bun was perfection and the iced sugar cookies are not only the best I have ever tasted but also stunning to look at it. I am hooked and will be going regularly to get my card punched!!This is a fantastic bakery with awesome owners. Bravo ? ???

Abigail was absolutely amazing! She made a cake for my wedding in March 2024 and it was the most beautiful cake I have ever seen! And it tasted better than it looked! It was the hit of the night and everyone asked where it was from and said it was the best cake they have ever eaten!! I could not recommend Abigail or her bakery more for your next special occasion!!!

I submitted an order for a cookie cake online & included in the description that I wanted a few different colored flowers & greenery on the border of cake. The cake I received only had yellow flowers lol. I'm not sure if you have to go in and pay extra for a more complex design but I was just going off the example images I saw on the website. I also selected the option for the Reese's cookie cake and I'm pretty sure I received chocolate chip - that, or the peanut butter flavor is just extremely faint in their Reese's cookie cake (I couldn't taste it at all.) Thirdly, I wish I had received an email receipt for my online order. Ultimately, it didn't matter because it was ready for me to pick up on time - but just for a little bit of reassurance that the order went through, a receipt would be great!! I've been here a couple times before and the treats I've gotten from their display are super good and the cookie cake was great too, just not what I asked for! The younger guy working at the register is always really nice and sweet as well! Just disappointed in the cookie cake!

I loved my wedding cake from Baes Baekery! It was the perfect fit for our Beauty and the Beast theme wedding! I got so many compliments from all of my guests about how beautiful the cake was and most importantly how good it was! Everyone loved it so much! I highly recommend for your special event! Amazing!!!! My only complaint would be we did not have any left for later because everyone loved it and ate it all!

Ordered a cake for a gender reveal. It was absolutely moist & delicious! The blue icing in the middle was completely concealed in a flood of Whit icing, so there was no way you could get a peek before it was cut. They are expensive ($90), and worth every penny!

I can’t rave enough about this bakery!! Not only do they have the best cakes in louisville but they also were so kind and worked with me to craft an allergy safe cake for my fiancé. It was just as delicious as the regular cakes I’ve had from them!!

I ordered a custom cake and while I was picking up grabbed some of their soup, both were amazing! The cake- I ordered a custom cake and only gave general instructions, I'm so happy with how it turned out. I had mentioned I wanted it to include rainbow elements, and the icing is exactly what I was picturing. I think the only brief grievance I have is the P letter looks like a different font. I'm sure this easily could've been fixed but I was in a rush and chose not to ask. The flavor was confetti and was delicious. I ordered more cake than I needed but at the end of the night all but a few slices were gone. Definitely a crowd pleaser. Soup-- oh my gosh. I got the white chicken chili and it was so flavorful and hearty. Perfect for a cold day. I didn't know they did soups until a recent social post but now I have a perfect excuse to get lunch and sweet treats.

I ordered a 6" vanilla bean Birthday Cake for my sister. It was absolutely beautiful and tasted amazing! The buttercream frosting was perfection - not too sweet. I will definitely order from Bae's Baekery again!

Came on a Sunday late morning since my friend had a gift card of some sort, so she decided to share treats with us. We chose a few cookies: chocolate chip, Oreo, cinnamon, red velvet, s'mores, and biscoff. We also shared a cookie butter cake. Delicious! The cake was sweet but the cookies weren't as sweet but it was perfect! They are LARGE cookies though. You could eat one yourself but we all ate about a quarter of some of them. They do have water sitting out to drink and you can grab forks at the counter. It was one guy at the counter, but he was patient with us and really nice. Glad they're here! Sweet Surrender wasnt consistent with their cakes, so it's nice to see another dessert spot like this.

My sweet tooth is tingling!! Wow oh wow. I am in this program called the hummingbirds and got a giftcard to try Bae's! And it's so delicious. The cookies were THICC and the cookie butter cake wasn't too sweet and the icing was amazing. I would definitely recommend this place. And can't wait to come back here!

My roommate has been raving to me about this place for months so I was excited to go grab us two cinnamon rolls today but sadly they were just rolls on dough with icing on them. I hoping it was just a bad day but sad our midnight snack is

I had never been here before but the bakery I normally use didn't think that it was capable of doing a custom cake with all the intricate details I was looking for. So I googled "best custom cakes in Louisville" and Bae's was one of the bakeries listed. I contacted them and they agreed to do it and after some conversations back and forth, we decided on the flavors and design.I was concerned because they wanted to use an '"edible image backed on fondant" because it was such a detailed and unusual design. I was skeptical but agreed because all the sample cakes I had seen on their website looked so good. From a taste standpoint though, my thoughts on a cake with an "edible image" on "fondant" were not hopeful to say the least. But I agreed because they seemed so knowledgeable.I picked up the cake the afternoon of the party and WOW, it looked incredible! They designed it exactly how I had envisioned it (even though I wasn't even sure of what that vision was?). It was colorful, it was detailed, it was perfect! At that point I thought "well at least it will look good even if it doesn't taste great". That night at the party we cut into the cake (multi-layered tuxedo cake) and the inside also looked incredible - layers of chocolate and vanilla cake, along with buttercream frosting.Let me tell you that this was seriously one of the freshest, best tasting cakes I had ever tried. It tasted like homemade. I had thought that because of the fondant and all the food coloring they had to use, it would taste like dye. I was wrong. I had two slices and woke up the next morning with my first thought being that I needed another slice for breakfast. This cake was everything I could have asked for and more.Additionally, the customer service was top-notch. The cake was a bit pricey compared to other bakeries, but it was worth every penny! Thank you Abigail and everyone at Bae's Bakery.
