Big Bad Breakfast - Brownsboro Crossing

Staff was the rudest I have ever encountered at the Middletown location. I also witnessed extreme rudeness to a door dash driver who had clearly been waiting a while and when they asked about the order having been marked 10 minutes ago as ready they were told "We don't care about YOUR numbers, we have to appear to be on time." He looked like management. I turned and left, I will not do business with someone being rude to staff or anyone providing a service to them any more than rudeness to customers.

BBB was just wonderful. Even got a lesson on their history. Each city's is different. We live in Conway, Arkansas and we were surprised when a BBB was announced for our town. The placement of location will be important. But if the food will be like we got in Louisville, it will be open for a long time.

4 of us showed up today Sunday 08/24/25
@ 1:00 and was told they would not seat us.
No reason given & I could clearly see there were open tables. We left and I'm not sure we will waste our time returning again.

Exceptional service. Marginal food. Skillet was soggy, biscuits & gravy cold and kitchen delivered the wrong pancake. Server immediately did her best to correct and mitigate. Even fresh biscuits & gravy were warm at best. Wish the food matched the service. Will not be back.

I had a beautiful, fluffy biscuit that was phenomenal. They gave me jelly that they make themselves and it was great as well. The building was stunning. All of the architecture was nicely preserved and beautifully decorated. I enjoyed this breakfast.

Usually I come here to get their delicious biscuit crumble (my favorite) but today I wanted something different and since it was my son’s first time here I wanted him to experience how delicious it is! He tried the screaming deamon abs said was good! I on the other hand tried the creole omelette! It came with the Side salad and let me say it was incredible! The dressing on the salad was a perfect pairing to the spicy omelette. Needless to say I will be back! Our server was excellent!!

It’s very appropriate to have bad breakfast in the name. Our server was too busy pretending to be nice to deliver the food warm. The cold food was delivered in black iron skillet on a plate which should have kept it warm but I’m guessing it sat for quite awhile. The restroom was semi clean but smelled horrible. Once presented with the check we immediately handed our card to pay. It took another 18 minutes for the server to return the credit card. On a positive note the biscuits were good and the smoked sausage was tasty.

I had the Jusevos Rancheros. It was phenomenal! There is a bottle of salsa Verde on the table which is a must try.

The French toast is the perfectly crispy texture! The BBB sausage patties were some of the best I’ve ever had! I highly recommend!!

Someone needs to fix the water issue in the kitchen or dishwasher. All of their dishes smell like wet dog. It’s disgusting. Service needs to improve. Put our name on the waitlist on Google and it said was 24 - 37 min wait. We get to the restaurant after 30 min and told it’s still a 30 min wait. The waitress disregarded our request for to go cups (because we know about the wet dog smell) and she brings only one of the 3 drinks in a to go cup. This is the first I’ve smelled it so horribly on the plates. We ordered French toast to share and didn’t get it til almost done with our meals. Someone needs to fix it. Just going to steer clear of this place for a while.
