We came to LeRelais for Sunday brunch. We sat outside on the deck which had a light cover over it and was very pleasant. We could see the planes. I had the quiche of the day which was delicious. Our waiter and the other waiter were both so attentive. They really made our visit exceptional. I wish I had gotten their names so I could thank them again.
We put on our reservation that it was our anniversary. The hostess acknowledged it and told the waitress. Nothing else was ever said. We were crammed into a very small table right by the front door. The waitress was very harried. She spilled red wine on my husband's linen pants and sportcoat. She did comp a glass of rose for us. But the tables are way too close together. The service staff needs better training. This was a complete disappointment to celebrate our anniversary.
We had a lovely brunch! Only complaint was that my companion ordered eggs Benedict, which looked lovely. The eggs were cooked too long and the yellows were hard instead of runny. And the menu stated it came with a side of berries. Instead it was a bowl of mixed fruit including mango, melon, and pineapple.
