Very welcoming authentic building, friendly service.. Then, the coffee, well ... Perfection. So well done, timely, temperature, etc

Popped in here while spectating the Urban Bourbon Half Marathon. Really enjoyed the iced pumpkin spice latte I purchased. Even though the shop was relatively busy, the baristas put drinks out in a short amount of time.

Definitely my go-to coffee space. I’ve been coming here for years and am always greeted with a super-friendly and amazing staff. The coffee is always solid, as they roast their own beans and do a damn fine job.

When enjoying Main Street and searching for your caffeine kick, Blackbeard is the best option.

Cool place making the most of their space, but they HAVE to deal with the crazy (homeless?) guy hanging out inside. He is bothering customers and ruining the cool vibe they have in there. Someone just needs to stand up and put customers over being nice to crazy people.

I got their seasonal Maple latte thing iced with pumpkin spice cold foam added. Now, it IS artisan coffee, so it was a little pricey, but honestly not that bad! It was only 15-ish dollars for my large latte and my friend's small brown sugar shaken espresso.
Here's where this place blew me out of the water, though. I was already having a pretty stressful day and had just walked over to get a coffee during the lunch break at the courthouse. This was the first place that popped up and it looked good. So I said I'd try it and when I tell you I think this coffee might have been the one single thing that kepat day I mean it.

Blackbeard Espresso is such a fantastic café! The drinks are awesome — I especially recommend the salted caramel coffee. And don’t miss the double chocolate muffin, warmed up — literally decadent and irresistible. A perfect spot for a cozy coffee break!

This is more of a grab and go place as opposed to a sit-in cafe.

The staff is very good and the coffee is excellent!

I stumbled across this place looking for a coffee shop to study at, and this was a little blessing in disguise! High quality white chocolate matcha, a moist, SOFT, fudgey chocolate muffin(best when heated up!) and a nice little atmosphere with music that isn’t playing too loudly. Definitely had a good music selection as well!!! The customer service is excellent. Will definitely be coming back and adding this to my favorites! 💓

I enjoyed a latte and a bagel sandwich here one morning before I explored downtown Louisville. The latte was smooth and easy to drink, and it may have been a flavored one. I tried the southern brekkie, and it had a good balance of flavors. I really enjoyed the time I spent here, and I certainly wouldn’t overlook it for a light breakfast.

Great Coffee and wonderful vibes in the heart of downtown Louisville. Their Expresso is full of flavor and not too bitter or acidic with a clean finish. I would definitely recommend a latte or Americano to get your morning caffeine fix before you walk the streets.
