The cutest and most tasty local bakery in Louisville! Their icing and fillings are hands-down the best I’ve ever had. Also highly recommend their wedding cake tasting box. The experience and their shop is also so so super cute! HIGHLY recommend Blu for your wedding cake and any other baking needs. They have done 2 wedding cakes for our family, and we will forever be return customers and stopping in to see what’s in their case!

I order a camerel top plain cheese cake and lemonade .
It has been a long time since someone actually made a perfect cheesecake. In my opinion. Again everyone has their own.
But highly recommended to come here!

We got three wedding cakes and a cheesecake from them for our wedding, and they were all amazing. They did a beautiful job decorating them and working with us on design, flavors, and delivery/setup. The cakes were moist and flavorful, and the frostings and fillings were perfect. The cheesecake had a compote on top that was delightful. Everything was delicious.

Blu Bakery made the cake for our wedding and it was truly amazing!! It perfectly matched our vision for what the cake should look like, but more importantly, was incredibly delicious!! Moist and not overly sweet. Tons of our guests commented on how good the wedding cake was - honestly the best we've ever had!! Plus, Teri was amazing to work with while designing the cake and choosing the flavors. She made the process really easy and fun! Highly recommend Blu Bakery for a wedding or truly any other occasion.

We are big fans of Blu Bakery. Especially love their mini cheesecake and chocolate chip cookies. Today I picked up a white cake with white icing birthday cake. It was incredible and everyone raved about it. Beautifully decorated. So tasty. The owners are friendly and helpful. You won’t be disappointed.
They have the best cupcakes hands down! The cupcakes are fluffy and light. The frosting is lightly sweet and also fluffy and light, not heavy like some other places. They also have the best chocolate chip cookies that have so many chocolate chips in them. The tarts (I had the pear and peach) are amazing as well. You really can’t go wrong with any baked goods here. Service was warm and friendly. I try and stop by whenever I am nearby.

I was in the Middletown neighborhood and I was curious about what was in the downtown area. I found that there was a little bakery called Blu bakery. I decided to pop in. Historically this used to be a bank thanks to the historical marker outside. But now it has been converted into this space. They have options of cupcakes and macarons, and various types of tea. There are other options available too, but it was late in the day so the cookies, scones, cinnamon rolls and mini cheesecakes were sold out. There were great syrup options for coffee and the teas also looked very delicious. The prices were reasonable and the service was nice. I was able to get a funfetti cupcake with a frosted animal cracker and it was moist and delicious. The space is very adorable for a hang out.

Having sampled the cookies here it was a no-brainer to use Blu Bakery for a cake for my niece’s baby shower. The staff are so friendly, were easy to work with and the price was very reasonable. The cake was beautiful and WOW did it taste amazing!!! Can’t recommend these guys enough!

I must of had cake tastings from a dozen places, Blu Bakery by far had the most amazing tasting cake! I also loved using a small local business. Teri and Kristen are so friendly, efficient, and professional! The shop is also adorable and has the best atmosphere.They created the most perfect wedding cake, exactly what I asked for... it was beautiful! I also was able to have half the tiers strawberry and half funfetti and it was the best cake I have ever had!!! You can actually see in my wedding video me say "the cake is so good" while me and my husband were feeding it to each other. Highly recommend them for any big event or just a little something to treat yourself!
