Burgers are not at all what they were before changing owners. I've been there two or three times since, hoping it was just a fluke, but I think the writing is on the wall. Hoping for something yummy to go in once it inevitably closes for good.
I used to really like this place. Their burgers have always been great, but I visited last week and had the Black and Bleu burger. The only thing on it was the bourbon sauce and lettuce. It was absolutely sickening. The “bourbon sauce” tasted like brown gravy.
That burger made me not want to return to Bluegrass Burgers.
We almost continued driving but very glad we did not judge the book by the cover. The food is awesome. Big juicy 6-napkin burgers 😛👍🍔
