Here's a polished version of your review that balances honesty with professionalism: ⸻ Review for Bob's Steakhouse I recently dined at Bob's Steakhouse and had a mixed experience. Unfortunately, the steak was not high-quality and turned out very chewy, and the calamari tasted more like rubber than seafood. On a positive note, the baked potato and carrots were excellent — perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The drink was also amazing, and the service truly stood out; the staff were friendly, attentive, and made the experience enjoyable despite the food disappointments.Overall, while the main dishes could use improvement, the great sides, drinks, and wonderful service made the visit worthwhile.
The food was great, but the service was exceptional. April was absolutely amazing! I would return just to be at her table again. She embraced the trio of us and provided the best service with incredible personality. If you plan to go to Bob's, ask to be in April's section. You won't be disappointed!
Filet was fantastic! Our waiter provided impeccable service. Thanks for a wonderful experience!
We had a great dinner at Bob's. April was our server and was amazing!! Would highly recommend.
Food was great as always. But absolutely no atmosphere In the place and the bartender (was sitting at the bar) kept disappearing for 10 minutes at a time which made ordering a real bummer.
The meal I had at Bob's Steak & Chop House in Louisville was one of the absolute best meals I have ever had. It was a perfect meal and I can't wait to go back. I hope to find consistency if visiting a different location, but I'm confident I will. Wonderful experience and perfect for the business meal we had. Thank you again and keep up the great work!
Would highly recommend Bob's to anyone living or traveling to Louisville. Excellent steaks, perfect martinis and friendly, attentive service you will not go wrong.
Definitely one of the best meals we've had in a long time. awesome service and great food.
George provided great service and recommendations. Tuna, steak, creamed spinach, lobster bisque and bread were all amazing!
The food was good, the menu had a lot of seafood items and not as many meat items other than the steaks; it was a little dark, making it hard to see the menu with no table lighting; the service was great... food came out fast and the servers were attentive

Great experience! We were seated immediately. Our Server Kyle was very welcoming and knowledgeable of the menu items. Our food came out quick and everything was delicious! Kyle was very kind to bring a dessert out for my birthday. Everything was wonderful!
We had a really great dinner here! The filet was excellent, with the perfect amount of char. Their smashed potatoes were SO good, and my husband and I shared their cream corn. Portions were good, atmosphere was nice. We split the cream brûlée afterwards too, and it was some of the best I’ve ever had. If you’re staying at the Omni, or just looking for a good meal while downtown, check it out! Troy was our server and he was kind, friendly and attentive. We will def be back, next time we’re in town!

Food was amazing. Portions are huge! Host, support staff all were incredibly attentive and kind. Filling up water, general conversation, etc. our main server must have been having a bad day. She was combative and outright rude at times making passive aggressive comments and treating us like she was doing the biggest favor by serving us. It was bizarre. Other than her, this was a 10/10 experience!
My daughter asked for her steak to be medium and it was extremely raw. She sent to back and they cooked it more, however, it was cooked unevenly with the outside over done and still raw in the middle. The worst part though was the amount of fat throughout the steak; it was chewy and hard to cut. For $65 I would expect a lot better quality. Had a 14oz ribeye at Porch the next night that was 100% better for half the cost.

Great experience. The only issue I had was the Carrort that came with my Filet & Baked potato. The large carrort tasted great! But was really sweet and overly glazed to the point that even after I took it off my plate. The glazed juices still on the plate basically ruined my steak. Still a great steak. Great quality steak. But I was extremely disappointed with how sweet my steak tasted because of the carrot. If I knew this was gonna happen I would have simply asked for my carrot to be on a separate plate
