Everything we ordered was GOOD! We had catfish, fried chicken, bourbon wings, macaroni and cheese, sweet potato, greens cornbread, chocolate cake… we will most definitely be back!!! I wish I had took a picture before we ate it all, but trust me it was all on point!

Both times that we have been to this establishment, the food had been GREAT. But the counter service, not so much. We found one of the ladies working in the front to be rude and short with us both times. The lady is the red hoodie was always nice. We were told that they would call our names once our order was ready. Instead we sat there for 40 minutes and watched people who came after us receive their food before us. Only when we spoke up for ourselves about our wait , we were told that our food was sitting on the ToGo table for at least 15 minutes. To be clear, the problem is NOT the wait, we anticipate such, it was the rude customer service. The food was EXCELLENT. Well worth the wait, we will be back. Hopefully to better customer service next time.

I had to come on this here internet and tell the world about this spot. I am a food connoisseur and have not been too happy with the food here in Louisville. In my opinion, there are only a few good soul food spots. But today, I said lets try something new! Brunch & Soul has redeemed the city! First off let me say there are a lot of similarities with Ada's Kitchen and that's a compliment because Ada's is the truth. I had the Pork Chop, Mac & Green Beans, all Chef's Kiss! Brunch & Soul keep doing what you're doing because this food right here is something to brag about! You deserve everything you receive and you should be very proud. Signed a happy Louisville Native!
This was my first time ordering and my last!The quality of food & price I seen on the website is what got me to order from this small business black owned restaurant,however upon receiving my order the sides were enough for 2 bites and then on top of that the cabbage was spicy!I do not like spicy food at all!!The chicken wings compared to the picture of the wings on the website is NO comparison at all!!I love to support black businesses,but this one is a no for me!!

Delicious and perfect. Ordered spicy Parmesan garlic wings, strawberry crunch waffle, bacon, and potatoes. Will be ordering again for sure.

This was well worth every bite definitely left me wanting more. The food was delicious everything looked exactly as pictured and tasted even better. The Banana Pudding waffles tasted just like a bowl of banana pudding and not just any kind but the one your grandma only make on special occasions. The chicken was fried crunchy(not hard real chicken eaters know the difference) the wings were a little small but they were so good I only noticed how small they were bcuz they literally left me wanting more. The Hawaiian French toast was so good it disappeared before I noticed the syrup the smothered potatoes was another one of those menu items you just can’t not mention all in all this is was the perfect soul food brunch I enjoyed every bite
