So we came out to Bud’s Tavern JTown last night with our children(9 and 13) and about 10 other people all the way from Bloomfield, Ky to sing some Karaoke. The KJ(Mike Boughey) informed my wife that he wouldn’t let kids sing. Finally my daughter was allowed to sing. I just thought it was very unprofessional that the KJ was picking and choosing who was allowed to sing. We have traveled to all kinds of venues for karaoke, and this was the first time this has ever happened. Karaoke isn’t about have just top notch singers! It’s about having a good time, and it shouldn’t matter if you’re a great singer or not! The food was great! But as I stated the KJ was unprofessional!

Just moved to J-Town and Bud’s Tavern is right down the street. Every time we have been there the food and service has been excellent. Fantastic burgers and delicious fish.

Catfish fillets were great and I loved the atmosphere! My party went in about 6:30 on a Friday night and it was crowded but we only had a short wait for a table. I will definitely go back!

Don’t try to order on a Friday night. They pick up the phone and tell you to wait and leave it laying there, never to return. Then the line stays busy forever. This had happened multiple times. Makes me hesitate to even try to give them our business. Sad because we really liked their food.

Planning a luncheon for our class reunion. So helpful and accomodating.
I’ve lived in the neighborhood for four years now, and I’ve always seen this place having a good amount of customers.
Finally went in today. Sign said seat yourself, and we were told to do just that. We did, however there was no staff besides the bartender that I saw. Maybe they were there, but not a sole spoke.
About fifteen minutes or so of just sitting there, a “regulars “ couple come up and wiped off our table, showed us the menu, and told us about the points system.
We waited, sitting there talking amongst ourselves for a long time. Still not one person from your business came to our table, brought a drink, or asked if we wanted to order.
After thirty minutes we walked out. Walked right into Yellow Cactus and had drinks, chips, and salsa within minutes.
I’m really disappointed that the first time will be my last.
