Excellent choice of gluten free/celiac safe drinks, very knowledgeable staff, and the atmosphere was fantastic. Highly recommend.

Great beers especially high gravity and gluten free.

Butchertown Brewing is creating some of (if not the) best beer in the state of KY. From the thick and delicious stouts to the hyper approachable fruited and dessert like beverage creations, do not hesitate - go now!

Love Love this place! They have great beers that I could enjoy it. I highly suggest to do the flights because every beer is unique and different. They always have new beers almost every week. I love it!

Absolutely one of the most underrated breweries in the state of Kentucky and the ones surrounding absolutely incredible and blown away

Butchertown Brewing is always a great time. They have trivia, board games, and their events are wonderful. Danny Macs Pizza will even deliver to the taproom! Make sure to try the pistachio stout and their yummy sours!

Came here based on recommendation from Danny Mac's Pizza - Mellwood and it did not disappoint. Great variety of beers including sours that were very well balanced. Great atmosphere and service. Must try if you like local brewed beers.

I asked which beer they would recommend for me to have, to tell everyone to try. After trying a flight, I'd have to say that you really can't go wrong with any selection, because each one doesn't pull any punches for the flavor they promise.

First of all, Butchertown Brewing is the only brewery in Louisville with multiple gluten free beer options. And from the look of their social media, they have a constant rotation of brews. As someone with celiacs, I haven't had beer in over 8 years, so this was super exciting. The bartender was really nice in explaining what I should expect from each drink on the flight, which I appreciated since I really don't know anything about beer. My favorite was the raspberry sour. It was the least sweet of the four of them, and according to my fiancé who is a regular beer drinker, definitely tasted the most like beer. It was sweet, but also tangy and slightly hoppy. I would definitely buy a full glass of the raspberry sour. Overall vibe here was good! Lots of people, tvs with various sports, & lots of board game options! I will be back for sure!

We tried Butchertown brewing for the 1st time last night? The bartender was Super nice and the sweet drink I had was Really Good BUT the beer was terrible......we tried 2 kinds and BOTH taste Terrible!! Not to mention they were Not Cold but rather slightly cool? Your "Fruity" sweet drinks are the Bomb but the Beer, ? yeah, Not so much!!

Great tasting traditional beer styles, an extensive collection of sours and some really creative & crazy experiments (pistachio hard milkshake imperial anyone?). Flights available!

Really enjoyed the variety of beer. They have some excellent high gravity offerings that are very good and reasonable prices. Only minor complaint is more comfortable seating needed and it's a little hard to hear with the acoustics of the concrete floors. A rug or two would dampen the sound. Would very much recommend though. Very friendly staff

Fantastic beer, and incredibly nice guys running the place. Was an awesome place to bring the dog and try some of the most unique beers I've ever had-- I still find myself dreaming about the Purple Paradise ube beer!

Terrific brewery. Amazing sours and spiked sodas.

Wish I could have tried more, but your bartender this afternoon was focused intently on his phone and disinterested in selling any of your beer. I gave him a half hour to acknowledge me (the only person at the bar), then got frustrated and requested my tab.
