Horrible service!! Worst service I have seen in 56 years! Completely unacceptable for this caliber of restaurant. 2.5 hours to get our food! Salmon was good but burger was burnt and terrible. Fries from a frozen package. Brie did not resemble brie. Avoid this place at all costs! Management did not seem to care.

Very good food. Authentic French Chicken rarely seen here in the States. Fabulous Schnitzel, perfectly made. Tartar was wonderful. Very nice cocktails too.

Decent food that isn't worth half as much money.

Exceptionally unappealing/loud atmosphere, terrible service, unique/less-than- French menu, and incorrect bill. OVERPRICED, obviously. The only good thing was the escargot, BUT accompanied with hush puppies???

Not sure how they are still in business. Poor tasting expensive food served painfully slow.

We had our wedding anniversary dinner here and it was wonderful start to finish! They took great care of us from the moment we sat down, pleasant, naturally warm service from the two servers. They helped us pick a bottle of wine to share, and when we ordered they coursed everything out in a way that left me feeling full but not bloated afterwards. The banana pudding cream puffs were a next level closer to a beautiful meal. We're vegetarians (I eat meat), but they adapted to our dietary needs with no issue. We started with frites (the dipping aioli was PERFECT), baguette, deviled eggs and scallops (I may have almost licked the shells the scallops came in they were so good). We split the house salad (please bottle and sell that dressing) and I finally found the most perfect onion soup here. We did the vegetarian pasta and the trout for our entrees. It felt like SO MUCH food, but it was very well portioned and the pacing of the food meant we could savor and slow down while we ate. Brava to the Byrdies team - really fantastic addition to our Louisville dining scene!!

Wow, what an incredible experience! A friend recommended this spot while I was in town for a work trip, which ended up doubling as a belated birthday dinner—and I’m so glad they did. I was seated right away, and Caitlin wasted no time getting us started with drinks and walking us through the menu.

The food was phenomenal from start to finish—everything from the appetizers to the main course was spot on, and the banana cream puffs were the perfect ending.

I only wish I lived closer because I’d be here all the time. The portions are generous, the prices are fair, and the non-alcoholic cocktails are a must-try.

Every dish I ordered was its own experience. The time, and attention to detail, well worth it.

I really like this place! I was prepared to be underwhelmed due to some of the reviews. The food is delicious, beautiful and delicious! The service is impeccable. The space is simple and elegant. We will definitely be back.

Have to be honest. We wanted to love it, but this place is all flash and no substance. Excellent service, presentation, and vibes, but unless you only plan to post your food pics on Insta and not eat it, you're better off spending your money elsewhere.

No soul, mediocre flavor. Every course was either drastically over seasoned or under seasoned. High dollar core ingredients like scallops, escargot, and short rib are squandered on under-realized dishes that look pretty but taste like diner food. Give those components to Red Hog, Repeal, Fat Lamb, Jack Fry's, etc., and they'll give you so much more for your money.

Louisville is far too excellent a food town to waste $400 on uninspired cuisine that aspires to be technically savvy continental European fare melded with farm-to-table soul food, yet manages to achieve the virtues of neither. And the prices are more than just your typical NULU surcharge.

Omg....the best new restaurant in Louisville in years! Every single bite was outstanding. I know I sound crazy but I could have eaten my weight in the house salad. The deviled eggs with the fresh taragon were so good and my short ribs en croute were fantastic. My only criticism is while the space is serviceable it is less spe I'll than the food

Small menu but the food was great. Excellent service and the atmosphere was welcoming and unique. Music was French and American 70's in the background. We will be coming back.
