I've Been Going To This Restaurant For Over 25 Yrs.,They Have The Best Chicken Fried Rice In The Area,I've Tried Several Places In New Albany Where I Live And Several Places In Louisville,Cafe Mimosa Has The Best Authentic Food Around,I Gladly Drive To Louisville And Get Dinner.

Aug 1, my son and I called and order to go. Every item was horrible. Crab ragoon was cold and hard (over cooked). Sushi - Tuna was warm scared to eat. Cal. Roll was sour and separating (definitely not fresh, didn't eat). Beef & veg was old, or sitting cooked all day, broccoli was shivering , other veg limp and overheated, beef was sooo sour . Therefore could not be eaten. We were so disappointed we had to order more food elsewhere. Thanks Cafe Mimosas s for horrible dinner . I called to discuss with manager and he had the nerve to tell me we did not order from them and did not want to talk anymore. Crazy !!! Never ever will we eat there again!!!!!!!

Based on a carry out order, I had higher hopes. I got their chicken curry and found the taste to be okay, but not terrific. Seemed to lack spices and flavors I love about curry. Large pieces of potatoes and carrots were nice, but became mushy over time. The whole dish with rice turned into more of a porridge. Also, there was not a lot of chicken in the $15+ dish. Since this was carry-out, I'd like to return for a dine-in experience.

Best- crab -Rangoon- ever!!!! Amazing rice noodles with lemongrass and chicken bowel!! Sushi is great, clean atmosphere and nice staff. I always bring my out of town guests here for some amazing cuisine!!!

The food was great! I love the crab rangoon roll! The server was quick and efficient. She made sure to come around asking if we wanted refills. A single order of fried rice is enough to feed 2 people! And you can't beat the mimosas during happy hour!

Food was OK; service was terrible. So slow. Girlfriend's dish was too spicy to eat. I was half way finished before we could find waiter to address. No offer to comp. Too many other good Asian choices in Louisville. I won't be back.
They have some bomb sushi and great mimosas. Come hungry leave happy

Best Chinese food I've ever had. Large servings, lots of veggies, and prepared to order. Love that they have outdoor seating and service, weather permitting. Friendly and courteous staff. Portions are so plentiful, you'll definitely need a 'go box"! Also, located in the historic Highlands area which adds to the ambiance of the restaurant. Easy to find and they have a parking lot, which is rare for that area of Bardstown Road. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are craving quality Chinese food.

Food was nice but there was only one person working the whole dining area (bussing, taking orders, taking people to table and bringing out food) so service was very slow. The restaurant also seemed dirty. I've been to Cafe Mimosa in the past and it used to be a favorite but it seems like it isn't as good as it used to be
