Food was cold. Obviously my grilled fish wasn’t put in the microwave long enough. And the green beans tasted like they were being marinated in toilet water. Mac and cheese was on point though. Overall, poor experience. Do not recommend.

The fish was cold and old, made me sick from eating it, however it's being stored and rotated has to be wrong whatever I ate was old and had been old for a while ... puked for about 3-4 days and finally found that it was fish that was expired and served anyway.. so if you want anything that will make you sick I highly recommend eating there .. and the kids standing at the front counter on their phones weren't interested in helping or hearing about the old, smelly, expired food that was being served and when I spoke with the manager she simply said it must have been rotated wrong. -5 stars for the worst fish place on dixie

I ordered from store on Bardstown road. Uber eats delivery was very good but part of my order was missing and already paid for. Called store and employee was very rude. She said manager was not there and would not give her name. Gave my name and phone number but no call back yet.

I honestly believe that with the service this place provides the owner should have kept it closed. I love their food but the service makes it hard to give even a decent review. Went today and sat at least 15 minutes in the drive-thru only for them to not give us all of our food. I did not notice until I got home so I called back to see about returning to get my fries that we weren't given. The worker told me they could not do anything without a receipt so I found my receipt a

Should have stayed closed.. slooooowwwwwww service. Messed up the one thing I really liked. The jalapeí±o poppers. No cheese whatsoever in them anymore and they're hot as f*** now with the extra peppers. Done

Stopped in to try the store since it had reopened, only to see that nothing has changed. Had to wait for over 30 minutes to get to two piece fish meals, and tried the fried so-called green tomatoes, that have no flavor or taste whatsoever and we're almost white instead of green. I was already Beyond upset and didn't even bother to ask for the dipping sauce that was supposed to come with my fried green tomatoes or white Tomatoes or whatever that was but it wasn't a fried green tomato. As far as returning to the store I see no need to. The service and food just plain sucks!

We thought we'd stop in to Captain d's on our road trip since we hadnt eaten here in years. I now know why i haven't eaten here in years... It is awful. Rather filling us up, the food simply made us lose our appetites. The menu looked promising. When the employees only took 30 seconds to bag and hand me our food i knew this was heatlamp food but i didnt know how bad it was about to be. Rather than juicy pieces of haddock like the menu showed, my fish looked like frozen fish sticks that had been cooked and sat under a heat lamp for hours. My baked potato had an odd color- it was grayish brownish (not the skin but the part that was supposed to be an off white) and the chives looked old and dehydrated. Even the green beans were horrible. They also forgot the sauces i asked for. (Edit) i left some chives out on the counter for a couple days and came home and they looked just like their chives looked. The only good thing i can say is that it was fast (which can also be seen as a bad thing considering none of it was made to order) and the cashier was friendly. We just wasted 20 dollars, but hey at least we know now.

Captain D's is a great place to get a relatively healthy meal quickly. The Wild Alaskan Salmon with rice and broccoli is the best! This is definitely my favorite place to grab lunch on the go.

Ok we went for the cheesy hush puppies and the loaded baked potato the were advertising. The lady at the drive says they are out of both. So i settle for a side salad. I get home and theres no salad in the bag. I knew there was a reason i stopped going there
