Been coming here for over 15 years and hope it never changes. The food is delicious, don’t skip the chili. The no frills atmosphere is great for families and a warm welcome over the hipster spots taking over Louisville.

Good fish, brats, cheeseburgers, fries, grilled cheese.

Check's is a neighborhood bar with good food, not a restaurant with a liquor license. I am pretty sure it's family friendly but call first to make sure. I hadn't been here for about 10 years and it's still exactly as I remembered. I had a bowl of chili, no noodles, no onions, extra cheese. It's really good chili. Probably too mild for the hardcore chili enthusiast but perfect for me. They are quite famous for bean soup and their fish sandwich. I would...
