Love the food! Crab Rangoons & their coconut shrimp is amazing! Recently they’ve changed to styrofoam containers and it sucks. The sauce gets everywhere and makes a mess. Still love it here, but wished they’d go back to plastic containers with lids!

China One is the first place in this area (Louisville/Jeffersonville/Clarksville) that has actually nailed decent cheap americanized chinese food. I know it sounds weird but there is a certain new York style taste that so many Chinese places here absolutely cannot get right!
Great lomein, great fried rice, great sesame chicken, and my wife has never complained about the bourbon chicken. Be careful about ordering a large eggdrop soup as it's truly a large. Their crab rangoons are great but their eggrolls lately have slowly declined in quality with a less appealing filling.
This place does not do dine in!
Their Togo dinner containers are a perfect bonus as they are reusable plastic ware!
Overall highly recommend 👌

I love their food. They have the best pineapple shrimp hands down. I drive out of my way sometimes just to get it. Very friendly staff, always fast to get my food and it is hot. 💯 delicious

I just discovered this place less than a month ago and I’ve been there enough times to realize I might need to move closer to save gas. Why drive 20 minutes when there’s a Chinese restaurant on every corner? Because this one’s better.
There’s a few things that stand out.
1. They’re down to make it spicy. This is rare because everyone says they’ll make it spicy. I even promise I won’t return it if it’s too hot. But most people just add spicy oil until the benefit diminishes to a spill hazard when I make this request.
I get the Hunan chicken extra spicy. But I’ve tried their bourbon chicken and my wife likes their Mongolian beef and general Tso’s and everything is good.
2. The menu. I don’t know why more places don’t do this but they offer two sizes combination plates and then a one size higher to a quart or what most places call dinner portions. Dinner combo is enough with a lot left over.
3. There’s no inside seating. This sets the vibe and lets you know they’re selling volume and not trying to do everything. I like the decision for some reason. Gives me permission to get my food and go. Simple ‘order, pay, go away’ comes with a similar magic rainy days can bring as they limit your options and illuminate your path. Eat at the park because why not?
It feels like someone’s thought about this business and decided they’re not going to chase tips, but they’ll strategically make the food good enough to be habit forming, omit the label and pretend they’re the same as all the other spice-averse Chinese soup kitchens until it’s too late and you’re hooked.
If the pricing was higher and the food was blah and the menu was mindless and the chef went on strike, this review wouldn’t have been necessary, but there’s no reason to not eat here. And some people may call that dangerous, some may call it good business. You’ll never call it predatory until you realize they’re making it this good on purpose and feel the sudden urge to warn others. But whenever you try to call someone, your phone only rings to this China One, and then the cycle continues.
This chef has convinced me he knows his stuff and doesn’t cut corners, all without words, but you’d be surprised at how many places will turn your food to an oil soup instead of rising to the occasion and blending flavors and spices together one at a time, like an orchestra led by a rogue drummer.
Regardless of your taste, you’ll feel it and might even dance.
And now I’ve said too much.

I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. My favorite Chinese food in the city, perfect EVERY SINGLE TIME. Bonus points for being the ONLY Chinese restaurant in the city that makes perfect crab rangoons.

I got crab rangoon and wanton soup, at least the rangoon was fire because the wanton soup made me violently sick. Going through the reviews i noticed a common trend of people getting sick.

These ppl are so messed up in so many ways. Ordered dumplings and combo fried rice online and picked up. Got to work just to realize they gave me plain white rice! Yes not even plain fried rice but just plain rice that I couldn’t even eat. Called them right away and was given an excuse that a manager will reach out. 5 hours later no call so I reached out very politely again. I was stern with them because they wanted to give me the run around and blame the website for their mistake. I explained that the receipt clearly stated everything I’d ordered but they didn’t fulfill their own end. I was placed on old by the “manager”. 5 mins later she hung up on me. These people are frauds. They don’t care about their customers. A bunch of money hungry buffoons
This is a to go only restaurant, no dining in. The employees are very friendly and keep it clean. Fast service. They usually have me out in about ten minutes. I ordered the pork lo mein lunch combo. The food was ok. It needed more seasoning.l
