Came in and got one of each of the empanadas. Every single one was awesome. The best was the regular chicken and the Jamaican. I would frequent much more often if I didn't live in bardstown. But genuinely 10/10. Great food, great selection, great service, great location.

Tried several and each one was better than the next. If I lived locally I would visit regularly. The shrimp and pork was the collective favorite of the group.

Incredible place with authentic empanadas, and great customer service. I felt like I was in Buenos Aires while at the same time in Europe too, very homie to me some of their products, highly recommended

OMG! I am so glad to find this place. This takes the #1 spot on my list of Empanadas . The chicken and beef are to die for. I also had the Buffalo chicken and the gyro. This is a must stop when in Louisville.

A+ Customer Service! The empanadas are delicious!
These are soooooo good it’s insane. Only bummer is I came one day 15 min before it said they were closed, but they were already closed! If you can catch em, they’re delicious.
I arrived at your location at 2:39 PM on Friday, September 19, 2025, only to be told by an employee that the store was already closed and the oven had been turned off. This was surprising and frustrating, especially since your website clearly states that the store is open until 5:00 PM.
I drove through heavy traffic to get there, expecting the store to be open during the posted hours. This is now the second time I’ve encountered this issue at this location, where the store closed early without any prior notice or update online.
I’m very disappointed by the lack of consistency and communication. I hope management will take this feedback seriously and ensure that store hours are honored—or at the very least, clearly communicated in advance if there are any changes.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.

This place is fantastic! I was recently in Louisville for a conference and went here for breakfast every morning, usually with work colleagues. The empanadas were excellent, the tea and coffee was great, the service was helpful and friendly, and the restaurant was spotless. In particular, there was an exceptionally wide variety of empanadas to choose from. If you like empanadas, this is the place in Louisville!

Saw this place on Social Media and we coming to Louisville on a visit saw had to try. Make sure you map it as it is nondescript from the outside, only a neon that says empanadas in the window. Inside is very clean and well done. There are about four seats at a window counter and about three two tables outside. The tables outside appear to be in shade most of the time they are open. Make sure to pay attention to hours of operation. Now to the empanadas:
They have a great range of them. They are baked not fried which is my favorite. Baked does not leave them too greasy. Today we went with three, beef, chicken and Italian. All three were packed, no air space inside. I have had some that do from other places around the country. The beef was good. It seemed just slightly lacking enough spices that I am used too, same with the chicken. The Italian was different as it is not traditional. It was very much like a calzone. We got three on Tuesday as they have a special of three for $10. They are usually $4 each. If I lived here, I would probably be here a lot. It is a must try. You will find something you like.
