Love the pizza and you have to try the wedge salad ! My bartender was very polite and knowledgeable on the menu and offered a selection of great drink ideas to choose from.

SHORT VERSION: Avoid using the QR code system. Waitress incredibly pushy and unprofessional; harassed me about a glitch in the system. LONG VERSION: Food was overpriced and mediocre, typical for an airport. The real issue would be the service: for patrons dining in, they pressure you into using a glitchy website [via QR code], claiming that the front register is for takeout only. That's mildly annoying, but worse is that the website glitched to where my boyfriend thought the payment had gone through and evidently hadn't. My boyfriend boarded his plane, and I walked to my own gate to wait, and there the waitress, Galina, found me and harassed me about the unpaid check. Thankfully my boyfriend still had his phone on and could re do the transaction (unfortunately the website didn't allow him to take away her tip). When I pointed out that if she would have just let him pay at the register as he'd originally asked, we could have avoided the whole issue in the first place, she got very huffy. I understand that it's technically neither of our faults, but her being so pushy about using the glitchy website and then finding me and harassing me a full hour after we'd left the restaurant is incredibly unprofessional.

You’re much better off with something from the burger place next door for a quarter of the price. Apathetic and sometimes rude service. Poor food. I spend a lot of time in airports and this was one of the crappier experiences I’ve had at an airport restaurant.

Service is the worst. I was standing by the to go section for ten minutes waiting to take order while two employees were talking and not paying attention to me.
This place was pretty good. My wife and I couldn't eat all the food and it was priced pretty good too.

Terrible server. Pizza was overpriced for a 10" pie. Asked for extra pepperoni, looked like regular pepperoni, so regular pepperoni must be one piece per slice. Had to ask the server who was doing her job and moving around the place for a refill on my tea. My server brought the tea. About 5 min later my server came and asked if I would like a refill, I declined and asked for the bill.. 10 min later.... got up and went to the to-go counter to try and pay as the QR code said there was no ticket open at my table. Moving server stopped to ask if we needed something, and when the bill was mentioned, had to track down my server.. again.
Honestly left a $0 tip. Tipping is for service, not for drop a drink and food and not returning.

The guy behind bar, counter that was doing it all was amazing. He was kind, attentive and even took time away from busy counter to assist an elderly lady left in wheelchair to her gate. So refreshing to see someone be a team player. Even when slammed and busy with coworker saying sorry they were on break/ he smiled and just kept on being awesome.

If youre at the louisville airport and hungry, skip past Coals and go next door to Smash burger. The wait staff at Coals is mean and nasty. The waitress could have understood that we didn't know that by ordering a pizza at the counter (where else would we order?) we weren't allowed to sit in the dine in area. She just had to bark "you can't sit there"....repeatedly. now mind you, earlier in the day a server at Wild Eggs who graciously changed our table when friends joined us unexpectedly got a $100 tip. So to the nasty little lady who could only repeat "you can't sit there" you lost out personally and you cost your company multiple repeat customers because I am in louisville twice a month and today I am traveling with 20 people. We'll done, hope you're proud of yourself.
