Food and service was awesome. I plan to go back often.
Nice change for breakfast. The restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. The service was very good. They gave us enough space to not feel rush but was always on hand should we need something. All the food was good and fresh. Looking forward to coming back.
A little too expensive for me. Food is good and flavorful. People are nice.
Amazing!! The food was incredible, service fantastic, and the ambiance was top tier. I will definitely be visiting again! A must visit in the Louisville area.
The absolutely best coffee I have had in years! Check out the espresso Martini as well! Great atmosphere friendly staff
Absolutely enjoyed my experience here, with some very tasty breakfast treats. The three tacos were a great start, with the side sauces actually bringing the heat. Then there was the chipotle poached huevos, which were also super tasty. And lastly there was the tres leches pancakes, which were fantastic. It was a great way to end the meal, and with the endless cup of coffee, was an overall excellent meal. Staff were friendly and service fast. Worth checking out for sure.
We stopped by for Breakfast. Had the Chilaquiles it was delicious.
I'd like to start by saying I'm not one to normally leave reviews, but frankly, I'm disappointed I've never heard of Con Huevos until now. The interior is clean, warm, and inviting. The staff is attentive and friendly, and the cuban coffee is likely the best in the area. The flavor is smooth, not too sweet, and not too bitter. The food was fantastic and looked just as good. A great blend of flavor and texture goes to show the care put into its preparation. Overall, it was slightly more on the pricey side at just over $20 for one person before tip. However, the quality and care put into not only the food and coffee but the atmosphere as well makes for a very well-rounded experience that's definitely worth the price, and I'd say it's a must try if your looking for good food/coffee with a unique style.
Food was decent. Went during the week so no waiting.
The waiter could have been more attentive in providing more coffee and water to our table.
My husband had pancakes, eggs and bacon. The pancakes were very good and the maple syrup thick and delicious. I had the omelette Florentino which includes a salad. All very good. I also had a pancake so I could try the tres leches syrup. Delicious!

Breakfast morning
I got into fender bender (with a parked car) in the parking lot while leaving as i didn’t realize they were blocking me in. it was so embarrassing and not my proudest moment by far. when i was walking into the restaurant to see who owned the car, two members of kitchen staff were standing at the back door laughing at me. when i asked if they could help me find the owner, they just laughed and shut the door which triggered a panic attack as i guess it was the straw that broke this camel’s back. there’s been so much more going on than simply a fender bender. my mom just got diagnosed with lung cancer while i have health issues myself and during my breakfast here, i’d been friend-dumped.
every male employee was standing in the back doorway laughing and talking about me when my boyfriend pulled into the parking lot. i was not oblivious to this either as even i could hear it from my car and see their smiling faces poking out. it left the feeling of a pit in my stomach and made me feel so low and small. i don’t go into public often and today they confirmed my biggest reason as to why.
this being said, the women here are amazing. they helped me find the owner of the car (an incredibly nice woman who was also an employee), gave me water and tissues, and checked in on me while i was hyperventilating. i can’t thank them enough for being girly pop and i hope the owner of the car that i hit knows that she blessed me immensely by sparing me from that extra stress when she had every right to not.
the food here is incredible. i’m upset that because of today, i have a bad taste for it in my mouth.
my reason for commenting an essay is simply to iterate to people: be kind. you never know what the people around you are going through. i hope the male staff here read this and learn something.
Best brunch in town! I love this place.
I took my sisters to Con Huevos on Hurstbourne Lane on Friday, February 7th, for a birthday brunch. The food was great as usual—we ordered huevos rancheros, tres leches cakes, and biscuits with gravy. However, the service left a lot to be desired, and we were overcharged for drinks.
My sister ordered three Guadalajara Morning Mimosas for the table, but after noticing a party pack option for 6-8 mimosas on the menu, we asked the female server if we could switch to that instead. She seemed unsure and had to ask another server, who told us it would be fine.
When we got our check, we were surprised to see that we had been charged for 9 individual mimosas instead of the party pack price (plus whatever additional mimosas would have came after that). When we asked about it, a different server told us there was no party pack option for mimosas, even though it was clearly listed on the menu, and another server had already told us it would be fine. No effort was made to correct the mistake, and we were essentially ignored.
Overall, while the food was great, the service was unorganized and disappointing. We expected more clarity and better customer service, especially when it came to pricing. If you go, I’d recommend double-checking your bill to make sure everything is charged correctly.
Con huevos is the best intent of a real mexican restaurant like the really good ones un Mexico City, buy unfortunately still an intent, I warn you in advance they do not have Pan Dulce to offer with the coffee what I disappointed, salsa really good though.
