Wanted to try a new vegan restaurant in Louisville. Even though the food looked delicious, I couldn't get passed the fact that the sandwiches are like $14+ and didn't included any sides or none of the sandwichs are combos. I was looking for something more affordable for two people.

My partner surprised me on a lunch date here - and I was certainly surprised! The quality of the chik'n alone, but also portion sizes, and conversation with the owners there was phenomenal. This is the best fried vegan chicken I have ever had!Vegetarian options: The entire restaurant is vegan! The chik'n is made of seitan.

I have been so excited to try cosmic since I saw they were opening a store front. Finally got the chance to try it tonight and was so disappointed. The staff were so kind and personable! But, the OG chicken sandwich I got was so greasy that’s all it tasted like, and the fried chicken on the sandwich was super dense I couldn’t hardly bite into it. It honestly kind of grossed me out. Maybe this is because I ordered carry out and it sat there or maybe because it was 30 minutes before closed. Either way super disappointed:(

The staff was warm and friendly. The environment has a very cool vibe. The owner actually came out and talked to us and was really awesome, friendly and interesting. The food was epic. This is hands down the best vegan chic I have ever had and I have eaten vegan food from all over the US and a couple of other countries. It was delicious with a perfect texture and taste and to be honest, perfectly seasoned. Most vegan chic I have gotten at take out places is very salty. This wasn't salty tasting and allowed the full flavor profile to come through. I had the BBQ fauxltry sandwich and my partner had the Hottville fauxltry chic sandwich. Both of us got fries and we split macaroni salad and broccoli salad. It was phenomenal and we are looking forward to going back soon ♥️

Finally got to try Cosmic Bird for lunch today! I am a vegetarian and could have cried when I got my General Tso's sandwich - the chik'n was delicious and crispy with the perfect amount of spice. My omnivore partner loved his spicy chik'n sandwich too. The chef was kind enough to introduced himself and turned on some music for us while we sat on the patio and enjoyed the sun - I didn't want to leave! We will absolutely be back.

I was blown away by the Bourbon chicken sandwich and fries with cheese—all vegan, and wouldn’t have known it. Amazing taste and texture. All the flavors blended so nicely. Great hidden gem. This place has fantastic chicken sandwiches and burgers. The owners are very passionate about what they do. I’ve come here multiple times and always try to bring someone new to experience this place.Vegetarian options: This is a full-vegan restaurant. It is fantastic!

Highly recommend this spot for some down home classics done vegan! Got the basic chicken sando to go at around 6 on a Thursday night. Service was pretty fast, even though there were quite a few people there. The sandwich was quite tasty; very crispy and tender, and the mayo was quite good. All the flavors were balanced and played well together. Will definitely be back to try the fish sandwich and the cold brew!Dietary restrictions: Everything is vegan :)
