Daisuki Sushi Highland

First time visitor. Ordered shrimp tempura as an appetizer. I thought it was quite good, even though my wife said they were good but she has had better in Louisville. For dinner we had a couple of pieces of nigiri plus a daisuki roll and a crazy roll. The rolls are fantastic! They were expertly prepared, with well balanced ingredients that blended together into a delicious bite. In a age where people often expect (and get) oversized pieces, it was nice to see each piece cut to a perfect size that enhanced the experience of eating these delicious rolls. The nigiri were also prepared by an obviously skilled sushi chef. The rice portion, the size of each bite, the freshness of the fish, basically everything i want in my sushi dish, was excellently done.

The quiet atmosphere made dining here a joy as well.

Will he back to try other items from their menu! Highly recommend.

I will not go back there. We had an amazing waitress she was new and so cute, even though she wasn’t perfect and didn’t know much English she still doing great, until I order a salad and it came with shrimp, I had to bring it back because I don’t eat shrimp. Her manager came to tell me it’s my fault that I didn’t saw it on the menu and if I’m not gonna pay for it the poor waitress needs to pay for it! I’ve got so mad ? and that’s the reason I never recommend to go there.

Really good food, nice employees and quick service. The menu had a wide variety of things including different types of rolls, desserts, bowls, ect. Pleasant/inviting atmosphere. Prices were also good.

Came here by accident, will return!

My partner & I had intended on having dinner at Dragon King's Daughter nearby. However, they no longer accept tap-to-pay (Apple Pay, Google Pay, etc), so we looked for an alternative nearby, as we weren't carrying our wallets on our walk.

Daisuki is a delightful place! Small & intimate, very kind staff, and delicious sushi. We will definitely be back!

We often get takeout and dine in. We’ve been Daisuki fans since they opened at Logan Street Market. The bento boxes are amazing. Service is always perfect, we love Daisuki. Best sushi in Louisville!!

I had the Ocean Heritage Roll and absolutely loved it. It had great flavor and texture with a nice touch of spice. Also tried one of the specials, a Gravy Noodle Bowl, and really liked it. We got the Mango dessert and it was wonderful. If you haven’t tried this place it’s definitely worth a shot, and I would recommend trying some of their specialty rolls.

Ordered some sushi for pickup through doordash. The wait was surprisingly long. However, the sushi satisfied our last minute cravings for the evening. We got the crazy roll and the crunchy yum yum roll. There was nothing remarkable about the sushi, but it was good quality and hit the spot. We will likely return here when the sushi cravings strike again.

love love loveeeee this place! only been here a few times with friends and family and their food is delicious. great variety and amazing crab rangoons. Their food isnt like any ordinary asian restaurant you’d typically find in american cities. Everything tastes and looks authentic. Crab rangoons arent what you typically get in asian cuisine- they are perfectly crispy with delicious crab meat with the perfect creamy taste. along with the sauce they provide with the crab rangoons- phenomenal. A little tangy and a little sweet and absolutely perfect. Their sushi is amazing and can’t wait to try more of their options!! The atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing, very clean and well kept area. tables are set nicely. they also have amazing tea that i always order to go! Staff is very friendly and helpful. Definitely the best asian restaurant i have visited so far.

I was a huge fan when the location was in Logan Street Market. Always had a great experience. I even came once before in the restaurant location and enjoyed myself. I came recently with my mom and boyfriend for my birthday and my boyfriend had the combination rice and there was a long hair in the food. My boyfriend has sandy brown dreadlocks and the hair was long and black and found after taking 2 bites. We told them and they only took off 10% instead of comping the dish. He did not want it to be remade but we were still expected to pay for it. We paid our bill and left and I will not be returning. Very disappointed. I’ve been a server for 10 years and would never make someone pay if they didn’t want it remade.

Absolutely the best sushi I’ve had in my life, and the Crab Rangoon can win any contest you put it in, hands down . I will be coming back here many times in my future. Simply amazing. 5 stars from visual to taste .
