Dasha Barbour's 217 E. Main St. offers rich and flavorful food with okay presentation. The shrimp and grits were tasty, with good grits and crunchy cornbread. The floors were greasy, making it slippery, and the bathroom wasn't clean. The fried chicken, Marry Me Chicken, brussel sprouts, collard greens, sweet potato casserole, and biscuits were all hits. The service was great, with a waitress named Tasia who was excellent. The lounge downstairs had a great DJ. The sweet potato casserole was outstanding, while the lemon pepper chicken was skinny. The setting and vibe for Valentine's Day were on point, just make sure to reserve parking depending on the day of the week.
