Incredible experience.... Delicious food, wonderful atmosphere, amazing service.... It was the perfect night
The food was great. All 4 us got something different and everything was outstanding. Definitely get the onion rings - homemade in-house and soooo good.
The $150 chateaubriand consisted of two end cuts not the center cut. My wife’s portion was 25 to 30% fat. My piece was so tough I couldn’t eat it. The replacement piece was all gristle and worse than the first piece. The veggies were fine. Chateaubriand should be the prime center cut of the tenderloin. These were not even tenderloin.
The server was great, the atmosphere good as they took over the great space from Z’s.
Very, very disappointing!

I was celebrating my birthday and had the best service ever from Erica!!! She was fantastic! I had the Lobster Bisque and Filet. It was amazing!!! I can’t wait to go back. My girlfriend loved it to and said to me when we left, “what a magical evening”.

I had an amazing experience at Del Frisco’s! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt upscale yet welcoming. The service was outstanding—attentive without being overbearing. The food was exceptional; everything was cooked to perfection, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The steak was tender and seasoned just right, and the sides were just as impressive. It definitely felt like a special night out, and I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience.

My husband and I went here for our anniversary. We had calamari, steaks, broccoli, and potatoes. The calamari was delicious, we loved it. The steaks were half an inch thick and mine were well done… over well done when I ordered them rare. The plate that it was served on was so hot it gave my husband blisters, which is probably why it was overcooked. That being said, my husband ordered the same thing and part of his was cooked correctly. The sides were good. I loved the decor and the location is great, but the steak… meh. For those prices I will take my business elsewhere to ensure a properly cooked steak.

We love this place. Best and most reasonable fine dining in the East end of Louisville. Ask for Wade as your server. He's the best.

Great experience, attentive staff. Steaks priced reasonable, sides were a little overpriced. We have a great waiter.
We arrived to find the male host wearing a ball cap, baggy pants and an untucked shirt. We chose to sit in the lounge area where both my husband and I had to switch our chairs because they were both broken. Luckily, our waitress was excellent, the drinks were great and the food was good. The steaks swimming in butter were amazing as always. This was the first time we had the broccoli au gratin, and we will definitely order that again. We love this place, but wish they would class some things up a bit.
I had an amazing dining experience at Del Frisco’s in Louisville! From start to finish, everything was top-notch. Our server, Erica, was fantastic—attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed.
I ordered the classic surf and turf, and it did not disappoint. The filet was perfectly cooked, tender, and flavorful, and the lobster tail was buttery and grilled to perfection. The presentation was beautiful, complete with a fresh tomato rose and wrapped lemon for an extra touch of elegance.
Between the excellent service, delicious food, and inviting atmosphere, Del Frisco’s is easily one of the best dining experiences in Louisville. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a perfect night out!

In the two weeks preceding my latest meal at Del Frisco's I had eaten at both Ruths Chris and Mortons and both meals were disappointing. I thought perhaps I was just misremembering how good high end steak houses were supposed to be/ had my expectations too high.
When I ate at Del Fresco's a few weeks ago I was pleasantly reminded that I had been wrong and there was at least one good high end steak house left in town. My ribeye was fantastic as was the sweet tea and the service. Ive resolved to eat out less through the week so that I can go to del friscos on Friday to reward myself after a long week and I will be returning. My only complaint is that their fried clam chowder which they are famous for was not as thick as I remember so if you're reading this del friscos please resolve to fix that. Thats my only half complaint otherwise thank you to the staff for keeping such a great establishment alive and living up to its name and reputation.
