The atmosphere was great, we ate the b.L.TI did like it, but we both agree that they used a little too much butter on the B.L.TI thought they were supposed to be toasted.Other than that, it was pretty cool.Everybody was very friendly.The bartender was nice.I wanna visit again
After a tour of Churchill Downs, we needed to grab a quick lunch before post time. We wanted to try some local Kentucky foods and the café offered the original derby pie in tart form from Kerns, Burgoo soup & grilled pimento cheese sandwich. I was expecting a sit down restaurant but here you place your order at the counter, pay, take a seat and they deliver your meal. My Hot Brown was very good. But this is a small museum cafe, so be prepared for that. There's zero atmosphere and you may not get to sit down. The place was packed with people.
