We stop here every time we are in Louisville. Absolutely love the burnt ends and beef ribs. Never been disappointed.

I came here the first night I flew into town. I am here for 2 weeks and I always try to find a find bbq house or two. Look no further than Momma's. I am sure their other location is just as good but the Hurstborne location enployees are super fantastic. The bartenders handle the takeout. I did eat my 5th meal at the restaurant and I received fantastic service. Beef and pork ribs are both fantastic but I believe you are REQUIRED by law to have the fried pickles and wings. Both are amazing. Momma's reminds me of the KC bbq houses with one exception. The mustard. Make sure you order some mustard and mix it with some sauce to make a Carolina style sauce (bartender suggestion). My wife asked me if I nade it to any good bbq houses in Louisville. I told her just one. I am sure there are some other good ones but something about the dry rub, pickles, wings, and mustard. They do it right at Momma's and the employees really treat you right.

A soon as you walk in, the smell tell you that you’re more hungry than you thought. Great food, good service. Only issue I had is they were out of a few things on the menu. Overall a great experience.

After seeing the restaurant featured on Triple D's, I could not wait for my next trip to Louisville. We live less than two hours from Louisville so we will definitely be going back! After a long day of Christmas shopping we were all excited about the stop. My wife ordered the grilled cheese with sausage which was delicious. My son and I split an order of chicken wings which were huge and tasty. Can't wait for our next excuse to visit and try the ribs and meatloaf. At this time with COVID cases on the increase, they are not allowing dine-in.

We had the spicy bread -n- butter pickles and they were some of the best fried pickles I've ever had. The ranch with the sweet pickles are a perfect pair.

Long day of travel and stumbled upon this. Everything smelled awesome but opted to take salads back to the hotel. Husband had pulled pork w/honey mustard dressing and I had pulled chicken w/ranch. Cornbread a must. We didn't want croutons but bartender suggested so we said ok. Now I know whhy!!!! Awesome croutons (I was sur was made from cornbread). All in all very good, server at bar phenomenal! If in well when in area again will definitely stop in and this time get ribs.

Hubby, girls, and I ordered a little bit of everything to share...wings, cornbread, pickles, mac & cheese, cheesy corn, mashed potatoes & gravy, and meatloaf, bologna, turkey, and pulled pork sliders. The Best: wings (amazing rub...so good. seriously.), cornbread (just like my mama use to make), mashed potatoes & gravy, pulled pork and meatloaf. Pickles were also really good. Average: mac & cheese, turkey, and the cheesy corn. All three were take it or leave it. Service was good. Location and atmosphere is just so. But if you're wanting something great for your taste buds...definitely give it a try!

I recommend the grilled sandwiches. I had the grilled cheese pulled pork and loved it. The sides could use some help. They severely lacked flavor and any seasoning.

After a long day, with no lunch, I wanted something very quick and close to our hotel. Checked TripAdvisor and saw Momma’s. When pulling up, it looks like a pretty indistinct strip mall restaurant that didn’t scream any bells or whistles. My favorite kind of place. Once you walk in, you’re greeted warmly and they have booth seating and some TVs at the bar. We were directed to have ribs, wings, and the donut bread pudding. Ok, sounds good. The wings were perhaps the BEST wings I have ever had, and I’m afraid to think of how many hundred ( maybe thousands) of wings I have had in my lifetime. Excellent. The rub is to die for. The homemade ranch dressing also fabulous, and I don’t normally even like ranch. The ribs were so tender and meaty, they were excellent, but I must say the wings were my favorite. UNTIL.... bread pudding. I consider myself a bread pudding snob. I don’t like it dry, crunchy or chewy, and I want it soft, and made with a lot of the custard they pour over to bake. as well as a great sauce. This had it all. Yes, it’s sweet. But I just may have to try making bread pudding with day old cake donuts because it was simply divine. Yes, divine. Oh, I almost forgot. Fried pickles. Spicy. You won’t regret it. So, Keto was put on a temporary hold that day, but if I was going to fall off the wagon, I’m sure glad I did it at Momma’s. Not sure when I’ll be back, but I’ll make my dinner stop here.

Our son-in-law recommended this place because he believes it has the best wings ever! He was not disappointed for the second time he was here. All I could hear from his side of the table was umm's of approval. When he goes to a barbeque place, he thinks about the meat - how it is cooked. And the smoked wings is what earns this place "first place". The sliders (I had the brisket and pulled pork) were also amazingly full of meat, so much so, that I couldn't finish even 2 sliders after an appetizer serving. The appetizer of nachos was not my favorite - too many weird items added to the nachos - fried pickles and barbecue beans. Another appetizer was fried pickles - just a reminder that the pickles are sweet - but actually it cuts the fried taste so that I enjoyed them more than fried dill pickles. My husband had the burnt ends - but they didn't really seem like burnt ends. Just doubly smoked. Two pluses for this restaurant: 1: plus for this restaurant is their contributions to the local community and their seriousness about being sustainable with solar energy and compostable carry-outs. 2. Portions are large and you can order individually from 1 wing to as many as you want. You can also order just one slider and a la carte everything! Which means you can be on a tight budget and still eat here! The way to get a 5 star rating from me is for Momma's is to get the sides up to the same level as the barbecue meat. The sides were just ordinary, nothing special.

We were staying in Louisville for a wedding, and our hotel had some local favorite restaurants, so we decided to try this place out since it was close to our hotel. The portions were huge, and the pulled pork was so good. We loved the big slabs of sweet cornbread. We were so full, but we got the bread pudding (made with donuts) with a bourbon/vanilla sauce and ice cream to go, and we ate it later. Delicious!! The only thing we weren't impressed with was the mac & cheese, but we were too full to eat it anyway. Will definitely go back next time we are in Louisville!

I wanted to thank you and the team again for yesterday’s meal. Everyone LOVED it. People had seconds and thirds and that’s the best compliment right there. The mac was great, the chicken delicious, and that lemonade, oh man that lemonade gave life!
