I order pepper steak all the time, since the cooks changed it's not the same.I ordered pepper steak and what they gave me was horrible, it didn't taste like pepper steak and it looked more like chicken than steak and the sauce was horrible. I will never returnsince they changed it's disgusting

Good food, horrible customer service. Waited 30+ minutes while owner tried to figure out why WiFi was down trying to swipe my card. Didn't offer to give me the food for free for the inconvenience or give us anything to apologize for waiting for so long. Had hungry children waiting, had to use my child's cash on order to pay for the dinner carry out). Got home after buying dinner for our family of 5 and we were missing food from our order. We used to visit twice a month. Never going back.

Has the ownership or staff changed? As long time customers we noticed a change recently. Online ordering system completely changed for the worse. The food was never really great but passable. Now it is worse and mostly tasteless. My Hunan Chicken was completely bland. Same for the chicken and Broccoli, in fact it was hard to tell any difference between the two.

This was my first time trying Double Dragon II’s food and I will NEVER eat it again…. We ordered the Mongolian Beef, Shrimp Egg Foo Young, General Tso Chicken, Crab Rangoon and Wonton Soup…. The only thing good was the soup. I am comparing this meal to another local Chinese restaurant, China Cafe, which is by far the best in the area….. China Cafe never disappoints, the only reason I ordered from Double Dragon was because China Cafe is closed on Mondays, but back to Double Dragon….We ordered Doordash delivery which was excellent, quick delivery and food was hot, besides that and the soup, everything else sucked…. The crab Rangoon appetizer tasted like paper or old….. I think it’s premade by a supplier and comes in frozen…. It was in my opinion inedible and went to the trash, General Tso chicken was bland, no seasoning or spices on the chicken, chicken was not crispy or crunchy like it should be, and normally you should get a couple of pieces of steamed broccoli, well no broccoli, the Shrimp egg foo young had no brown gravy on it, the brown gravy is something that always comes on egg foo young, instead they sent a container of a dark brown syrup, which I think is the “base” which the brown gravy is made from ….. it surprised me in a very unpleasant way….. the Mongolian Beef looked really good, plenty of veggies and beef, however the beef texture was gelatinous and the whole dish so under seasoned, very bland and very disappointing. On top of all this there wasn’t any sauce or soy sauce packets nor any fortune cookies…. $66.00 was spent for this extremely disappointing meal….. this left such a “bad taste” in my mouth and wallet, that I will never recommend nor patronize this establishment again…., if the restaurant wasn’t closed, (I ordered near closing time), I would have taken the food back. China Cafe is the only Chinese restaurant that I will patronize or recommend for this east end location.

I'm not a huge fan of Chinese food, but I have to say the take out here was pretty great. The wonton soup was flavorful unlike many others at these types of quick Chinese restaurants. The orange chicken was also delicious and very tender, which was a pleasant surprise. The lo mein was also good and comes with multiples types of protein. Would definitely order again.

I'm sorry but this place is terrible after some changes. Everything is bland, all the vegetables are undercooked, and there is zero sauce or flavor. It's just bad. I don't know if the business was sold or what but it's just bad now

I got a to go order and the customer service was TERRIBLE!!! The man was so rude and seemed irritated when I asked questions about the menu. The food wasn't what I ordered and was $33.00 for two meals. I most definitely will not be coming back and I wouldn't recommend anyone wasting their time and money at this place. Wish I could've rated this place 0 stars.
