We travel the country and Came here based on the gold rating on trip advisor. We chose items on the menu that said were their best. Wait what? I’m sorry but I don’t know if people were rating the food or the bourbon, cuz the food was NOT worth a gold rating. Got the three pig sandwich and street corn. I’ve had so much better elsewhere. I’m so disappointed. If I can’t trust trip advisor what good is it.
It was a beautiful day and the doors were wide open allowing the beautiful shaded patio to merge right into the restaurant. We were looking for a light lunch and their small plate menu was perfect. The chili was flavorful with just the right amount of heat! The tortilla soup also had just the right amount of heat. We would recommend! Perfect start to our Louisville weekend.
We had a wonderful time here. Debi is so welcoming and sweet she makes you feel right at home. The food was great! Everything Debi recommended was perfect 👌 from the food to the drinks. We are definitely coming back to Down One Bourbon Bar on our next getaway 🫶
