Great way to get into sushi, very approachable rolls and plenty of other options for uncertain guests. I've been coming here for over 10 years and have had consistent service and food every visit. The new location upscaled their service and I've really enjoyed the menu items added since their move. Walkable part of the city so it's easy to waste an hour waiting for a table along the streets of the highlands.Parking: Pretty busy part of Bardstown Rd, when in doubt turn down a random side street and find a spot.

Do not order the Bibimbap. Bibimbap is supposed to be a rice dish that you mix things into. Shrimp Curry Bibimbap was like a bowl of brown gravy covering maybe a half cup of rice. And mozzarella on top? The small ginger salad was also swimming in dressing like they were hiding what was underneath.

It seemed like my sushi roll was made hours ago. My salad tasted great but honestly how could someone mess that up and this is the second time that I went there and had a negative experience the atmosphere is wonderful that's one thing they absolutely had going for them however they need to work on the culinary part of it and serviceParking: There is street parking however you will have to put in the parking meter and there's also a parking lot within the block from the placeKid-friendliness: I would say that it is kid-friendly however I would not take young kids there because it doesn't really seem like that type of atmosphere for young young children however when they're 12 to 13 or older that would be great it is the HighlandsWheelchair accessibility: The pantry is very well for wheelchair accessibility however the seating will only be in the bottom half you cannot be with a large group if you have someone with a wheelchair. I would suggest if someone is with a wheelchair or Walker definitely make reservations and count your your group amount and let them know because seating is limited in that small area in the bottom part but up top there is more formal sort of like dining for bar atmosphere

I visited with some colleagues and we had a great experience. The food was very good and the drinks were reasonably prices. I had the sweet and spicy wings. They had a great flavor with just the right amount of spice. We shared the nachos with the ginger chicken and the taste was delicious. They also had a decent bourbon selection for the size of the location. I would recommend and return to this location.

My husband and I were at a conference from out of town and came in based on the fact they have an extensive gluten free menu. Some of the best sushi places ever! Loved the garlic and butter edamame. It was the best I’ve ever had.There’s a decent selection and you can definitely pick some things that are other spicy or not. My husband likes the spicy definitely more than me and he enjoyed the rolls that either had the chili oil or jalapeño on them. They weren’t too spicy but more than I would prefer. I really enjoyed eating here and would go back in a heartbeat if given the opportunity. Hoping that the conference next year is in the same area so we can visit again.Vegetarian options: They have an entire vegetarian section with numerous choices that look like they’re bursting with flavorDietary restrictions: Gluten free

We are in town from TN for work, and need some good food after being on the road all day. Bardstown road is the place to be and we saw the great reviews for DKD, decided to give it a go!MAN!! I was in food heaven, truly. I am big foody, sushi eater, will try anything girl. The wontons are some of the best I have ever had, so much flavor that wasn't just cream cheese. Gyoza was fire!! It has some type of tangy saucey drizzle on the bottom, delicious! We got the bao buns, so fluffy and deep with flavor. The dipity roll was my favorite. We talked about the ambiance of the restaurant numerous times, very intimate lighting but busy atmosphere. I highly highly recommend this establishment!
