First time in, I loved the options in flavored schmears, choice to create your own.Limited bagel flavors that must change daily or weekly but different than the norm. They even have kombucha! There's nothing like this on the east end of Louisville, so I will be back.
Vegetarian options: Vegan option w/carrot marinated salmon alternative....so good.

We really lack good bagel shops in town. Early bird fills that void! Best lox in Louisville. The bagels are fresh, full of amazing flavor and perfect texture. And the smears? Out of this world. Get an 8oz tub of one of their homemade schmears-you won’t regret it

i ordered my regular favorite, plain toasted bagel with plain schmear and an egg. it tasted great, no complaints. the staff was friendly and the atmosphere was nice and clean. i give 4 stars only because for the price, i get bigger and fuller bagel sandwiches at one of the local competitors. other than that, no complaints and im very happy to have this shop open up in the area!

Really enjoyed my zataar bagel, it was perfectly fresh. I also got a cinnamon raisin, which was good, just had a much tougher consistency. Reasonable prices but small bagels. Many shops these days struggle with being understaffed, however this place seemed maybe even over staffed, with three helpful employees, especially the one with the nose ring who explained the bagel options for me. Would love to see more coffee options, such as flavor syrups.

I’ve been twice and have enjoyed my food both times. The sesame bagel is quite good and I like their unique schmears and also appreciate their dairy-free options. The service has been good and prices are reasonable, if not kinda a lot for a bagel. A couple things I wished they’d have: recycling (should be a given but somehow isn’t in many Louisville restaurants) and maybe some more substantial chairs on the patio. And the ramp to the door needs something better there. Overall I think it’s a good addition to the neighborhood and hope they do well.

Why the strange hours? You are closed throughout the week when people want something quick on the way to work but open on the weekends when people have time to cook their own breakfast?

OUTSTANDING. I had a delicious bialy with egg and cheese, and my son had lox on an Everything. Service was prompt and friendly; prices, very reasonable.
I like this place...and heartily recommend it!

The schmears are actually REALLY good. But, wow the price. I don’t understand why the bialy with cream cheese is $0 additional but as soon as I ask for it on the side it’s $2.50. I’m not looking for anymore than what would normally go on there at $0 charge. It’s so crazy to be paying $2.50 for each schmear or cream cheese/spread.I asked the person ringing this up but she was confused and really couldn’t explain why. I was really hoping that I could frequent this place more often because I live within walking distance but the prices have totally priced me out.

I'm so happy we have a great bagel place in the neighborhood. I had a jalapeño cheddar bagel with a veggie smear and it was the best bagel I've had in Louisville. Fantastic!

My hope is that what I experienced were first-week kinks that will be eventually ironed out. The bagels were adequate, however they are not big, especially considering the price. I went their third day open and waited an hour for three untoasted bagels, two with cream cheese. There was absolutely no sense of urgency in the staff, who casually walked around and made orders. There was no acknowledgement of the absurdly long wait, as if this was normal for such businesses. It seems they have very little experience in the restaurant industry based on the slow pace and lack of expediting simple orders, opting instead to do them exactly as they come through. Having worked in the industry for years cooking and running kitchens, I appreciate the need to workout early kinks, though also know you mediate the effects of those through exceptional customer service. The latter was not present. I am hoping these issues are quickly corrected, though just saw they are closed on a Saturday due to insufficient staffing. I will consider returning in a few months, as I would love a good bagel shop in my neighborhood.Side notes: The 80's rock blasting was brutal for early morning and I wish it would have been something more consistent with a cafe. Calling the cream cheese a "schmear" needs to go. This isn't New York and they're not from New York. I get the trying to be cute, but they've got more important things to focus on than being cute. Just call it cream cheese.
