Overpriced small Greek salad, very small, advertised served with hot pita. No pita, no crackers. And place was dirty.
I am writing this review as my wife is sitting beside me in tears over an experience that just occurred while trying to order dinner at Highlands Eat A Pita.
This evening, we decided to treat ourselves to takeout after a long week. I am a fairly frequent patron of Eat A Pita and suggested we place an order there for dinner. Remembering that a perk from our new insurance plan is discounts to some local restaurants, my wife quickly looked up this restaurant to see if there were any discounts we could use with our order. We were excited to see that there was a Buy One Get One deal for pita sandwiches of equal or lesser value.
We decided to drive across town to go order in person. Just moments later, my wife bursts outside in tears, telling me the woman was accusing her of trying to steal from the business by presenting a fake coupon. My wife continued to explain that when she offered to try to prove that it was real, the woman doubled down and told her again that it was not and that she would need to pay full price or leave.
Needless to say, the interaction has left her very upset and embarrassed (there were other patrons inside witnessing this!). We did not end up getting food from the establishment, and as much as I loved this place prior to this moment, I’m not sure we’ll ever be back due to the horrific treatment we received this evening.

Everything looks good and packed well, but the taste is just off for me.
Regardless of how bad the first bite was I tried to not waste the whole gyro/pita.. went to Jack n the box and gave the rest of the order to the squirrels & birds. The place seems fun to hangout at, maybe eat the fries if you're starving. The meat was beyond dry, took my cat 4minutes to finally eat it (steak & chicken) not sure if sauce is house made but it didn't help, added hot sauce before throwing it out. Slacked with the veggies also but the cheese was good *On the small portion that had it.

The place is run down and the service was garbage. I didn't see any gloves used. The meat in my gyro looked like it was cooked for yearos. Would not recommend. I also am sure I saw a mouse while watching my food being done. I tossed my food and decided this would be a more effective to getting the issue resolved gross.

Workers were rude and unnatentive. Only gave us 1 of the 2 sides of fries that we ordered. Prices were $3 more than listed on their menus.

The food was excellent! The staff were very kind and the price was reasonable. For me, that is a slam drunk.
Vegetarian options: They are not 100% vegan/vegetarian, but they have a huge selection of vegan/vegetarian options.

I ordered doordash here and had the aladdin salsa and 2 chicken kabobs. To begin, I am used to my pita chips being a but more crispy these were quite oily. The dip itself was good and was full of fresh vegetables. The chicken kabobs were also very good, just 1 or 2 weirdly chewy pieces. I did not care for the citrus herb rice, it was far too citrusy and overpowered the rice. Otherwise meal was delicious and will be back.

The pita was a lot of bread wilted lettuce and little lamb meat. Fries were not cooked all the way. And the person waiting on me was rude, and the extra tzatziki I ordered on the side was there but none was on the gyro.

They were not friendly or helpful in any way I had never been their before and they made the situation extremely awkward for no reason. I felt very unwelcome, no wonder the place is empty.

Yumby gyros. But you have to eat them wrapped up, lol, dont totally unwrap them! I also got to play off brand Jenga while i waited for food ? Very enjoyable time!
Parking: I think you can park in the bank parking lot next to them. They used to have a sign up saying you can. I am not sure anymore though.
