Completely inaccessible. I understand it’s a historical building but there has to be a better way. The ADA still applies to historic buildings- they are simply required to use alternatives. Appreciate the sign outside but this was not acceptable. We had to carry my 10 year old daughter in her wheelchair up the stairs- if she had not had strong adults with her, or someone is by themself- this is completely inaccessible. Please do better.

Accessibility should not be contingent on relying on employees answering the phones on a busy Friday night. People have additional needs as well as mobility and they may not be able to make that type of a phone call.
I saw this response as we were eating, and went to the employees to ask them to use the elevator on the way down. It was incredibly complicated to get to, at times required a code, and the walk was about three minutes total. I feel certain that if you tried harder to get a ramp, that you would be able to get one. I would be very interested in who denied the installation of a ramp and would be happy to write a letter and to appeal to the city if there is a company that is denying routine accessibility needs in violation of the ADA.

Didn't have a lot of options. The root beer float was great and so was the brownie. Atmosphere was nice.
The ice cream here was good but for the hype I heard about this place I was disappointed. They really didnt have much of a selection and if your looking for the wow factor it isnt here. I absolutely love ice cream and eat it every day. I was hoping to find something special here and didnt. What I got was good but I have had better from Krogers for cheaper. The staff was great though and on top of things. There wasnt many people here so that helps too. I was happy but wanted to be happier with this experience.

Had to stop in for some local ice cream. I cannot say enough about the friendly staff. Even helped my buddy when he left his phone there. The ice cream is as good as any home made ice cream. I got the bourbon brownie sundae. Not a big brownie fan, but it was melty, soft, and went with the ice cream well. I recommend this place as a stop for your trip to Louisville.
First time here. The two employees there were almost as great as the ice cream if not better. They greeted me with hello and a smile which immediately brought a smile to my face. It was contagious. Secondly, without being prompted as I glanced a the menu, I was directed towards the flavors and options and told their favorite flavors--a question I always ask. I tried the bourbon ice cream and the cookies and cream. Ended up happily getting the cookies and cream as a brownie sundae. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I was just kinda walking in as I walked by and I'm glad I did.
