Ehrler's Ice Cream

This is the best ice cream I've had in years. The butter pecan was amazing! Has the nostalgic real ice cream taste from when I was kid.

I remember this company when the Ehrler brothers ran it. The management may have changed however their ice cream is as fresh as I remember.

This is not the same Ehrler's as when I was younger. Don't go here thinking it is. This is a wanna be 2024 remake. The taste of the ice cream is below the taste of Kroger brand ice cream. They have very limited flavors. Went there expecting the old Ehrler's and was disappointed, threw away over half the ice cream

Although this is a classic louisvillian establishment, you could say I was extremely disappointed and distraught at my local Ehrlers experience. I had been a few other times once when it first opened. It had been an odd texture on one other account but I thought nothing of it. The prices are great and the ice cream usually is too. But to my demise when I ordered a regular sized cone of mint chocolate chip my taste buds where not happy. The ice cream had an odd grainy feel and left me with a stomach ache. I love Ehrler’s and this experience was very unexpected.

We’ve been coming here for over a year and every flavor we have tried is so good! Our favorites are salted caramel chip and black raspberry chip. Waffle cones are always fresh and service is consistently friendly and quick.

I really loved that there wasn’t a huge line on a Saturday night! For the fact that it only took us 5 minutes to get our in total 15 scoops of ice cream! The amount of icecream that was given in each scoop is very impressive! It is definitely worth the cost and would go back any time!

For a rainy Saturday afternoon this place wasn't very busy. The portions were huge. Strawberry and Mango sherbert were both a hit. Bourbon flavor was very complex- almost too much going on. Cookies and cream was just okay. Double scoop just $7
