I am usually sluggish when it comes to writing reviews, but this time, the food was so bad I couldn’t stop myself from writing this review; the least you could expect from an authentic Mexican restaurant is they prepare fresh salsa, it was not fresh at all, it was the same as what you get from Kroger or Costco, chips were stale, either they were ancient, or the oil in which they were prepared was old and reused multiple times, one of us ordered a fish, it was not cooked well and was stinking. I ate at a lot of places in Louisville, but so far, this was the worst Mexican food experience for me and my family. I hope they soon put some quality control measures and at the least serve fresh food to their customers.

We had dinner here last night, family of 7. The service was awesome! Our server was Alesha, she took wonderful care of us. Topped off drinks without having to ask. Food was amazing! Hats off to the chef! We all took home leftovers, the portions were huge! The restaurant was very clean. I was very pleased with the cleanliness of the restroom. We all had a wonderful experience at this location. Will be back.

Cockroaches right next to our heads and crawling on the wall . Waiter saw the cockroaches as we pointed them out to him and he smiled and walked away like it was a joke . Never coming back ☹️

If I could give this a zero star review I would! I hate to even give it one star!! We ate here and it was disgusting!!!! The food AND the plates were cold and the food wasn’t even what we ordered! When I told the waiter he did not even understand what I was even saying!! This is the WORST El Nopal we have ever been to!! To say we will never be back is an understatement!! This restaurant needs to be closed ASAP!!!!!

We were very uncomfortable when a child approached us at our table to try to sell us homemade cupcakes for 8 to 10 dollars. I don’t believe this is legal. Also, when we declined, the child got very upset and stormed off. This is extremely inappropriate, and was a very uncomfortable situation.
